Deck Helmet

I called Deck Helmet because of a Value Saver mailer coupon and I really liked the fact that they offered multiple options for deck resurfacing/repair. Richard came out - kept his mask on the whole time - was very informative, and provided good insights into the state of my deck and the best options based on what he saw. Wasn’t originally planning to go with the TREX, but really liked the look and the fact that it was guaranteed for 25 years! Work was done quickly (within 2 weeks!) and professionally. Owner Jason was very responsive when I had a question about final invoice, and fixed an accounting error quickly. I love my new deck - have been enjoying it almost every afternoon when the weather is nice.

Mario was very responsive and kept us informed of when he would be on site. They worked quickly and took precautions not to damage existing structures or plants. Great job.

This company is awful!! They are quick to respond and schedule to do the initial work. However, if you have an issue because of shoddy workmanship they give you the run around. No one is available to assist to rectify the problems!! I will be calling my local news station like others have done in the past!! Maybe then my issues will be addressed in a timely manner!! This is ridiculous!!

Worst customer service ever. I made an appointment for an estimate and 15 mins before my appointment I got an email saying thank you for canceling your appointment which I NEVER did. I canceled all my plans just for this and they didn’t even show up nor they let me ahead of time that they won’t be able to make it, bad bad customer service not professional at all.
To top it off I can’t get an answer to why that happened. I have been calling them for the past 3 days to figure it out and everytime they tell that no agent or manager is available but will call you back soon it’s been 3 days never received a call back from any agent or the manager. And today which is the 3rd day since my original appointment date the lady I talked to told me that it was probably canceled because we were OVERWHELMED, why let people make appointment when you guys can’t handle it? BTW I’m still waiting...

The entire process from calling to make an appointment, to having a contract, to having a team arrive for removal of my existing decking, and to the installing of new composite decking couldn't have gone smoother. The total process took less than 3 days and I was left with a deck that I am very happy with.

Deck replacement project was simple and easily constructed. The guys did a wonderful job and can't wait to have my 1st cookout in the coming weeks.

Thanks Deck Helmet for my new Trex reface and replacement! The work was done quickly, and the quality is great! Richard, Jason and Christopher are your go to guys, they did a fantastic job.
