Crystal Lake Rib House

We have eaten at the Rib House more than once. Friday, March 16 was our first Fish Fry. We received an email about the all you can eat buffet and tried it.
First, we were very impressed with the offerings. However, we informed the hostess that our food was not hot or even warm. For the cost, one would expect a hot meal! And, we did not arrive late, but arrived around 6:30pm. The hostess did not offer any response. We were just trying to be helpful.
Very disappointed and suspect we will not return.

We had a great time and the food and bloody mary and service were top notch. Only wish we lived closer so we could enjoy more often

I stopped in for the 1st time ever to pick up a sandwich for lunch. The service was poor. Was not sure if I was in the right spot for ordering take out although its what the sign read outside. There was no signage about what they had to order for take out. While waiting for food I sat and looked around and saw what looked like the floor was not swept under many of the food carriers in a long time. Hoped the food prep was better than the visual presentation of the pick up area. After a long wait because of 1 person handling the restaurant and pick up area I finally left with my food. Turns out I did not like the bbq pulled pork sandwich, the side of beans or the cole slaw after all. I was only able to eat a portion of it. It was expensive too.

Just got home from Crystal Lake Ribhouse. Food was good, but service was TERRIBLE! We actually started playing a game between the three of us to see how long it would take the waitress to come back to the table. 21 minutes after our dinner was served she showed up only to ask if we wanted another drink! I said "about 20 minutes ago it would've been great!" But we just wanted to pay the bill and leave. Would have been nice if we had something to drink during our meal. Really? She even replied Ribhouse wasn't that busy. Oh well - too bad for my husband because he loves the Ribhouse but I won't be going back because its nice to get waited on when you finally get out on a Saturday night. I usually don't write any reviews, but I told my husband the minute we get home I'm saying something.

Best ribs wings etc by far . Warm friendly atmosphere and service.
