Really fantastic and unique teaching method! It was also somehow both really fun and I actually remember what we were taught. I highly recommend! :)

This is truly the best ulpan in Tel Aviv/Israel. The teachers are incredible and the staff is so friendly. They truly care about the students and learning Hebrew. I cannot say enough positive things about Citizen Cafe!

Great experience. I came in knowing nothing and have learned so much. Teaches you useful Hebrew you can use in everyday life. Classes are a great size. Highly recommend!

I have been a student since the beginning of OOlpan and can't believe how much my Hebrew has improved since! Citizen Cafe has become a part of my routine here in Israel, and I look forward not only to learning more each class I attend, but seeing the people involved in the Community each week.

The structure of the class is focused entirely on speaking and learning real Hebrew that you hear and use every day - at work, with friends, at cafes, on the bus, at the doctor, with the bank, the list goes on. My confidence in speaking and understanding Hebrew has drastically improved. I can finally say with confidence, yes I can speak Hebrew!

My experience of Citizens cafe has been just amazing!
I love the whole concept, the laid back, fun, yet highly rewarding method of learning. The warm social community vibes and most of all the fact that it actually works!
I am slightly ashamed to say this, but this is actually my 3rd Ulpan I've attempted. And only now am I able to use my Hebrew in day to day scenarios. I understand a lot and can actually respond or be apart of that big conversation that I've been yearning to be apart of for so long. My friends and partner have really noticed a difference in me. I think the fact that the classes are small really does help, giving you time to ask questions and to make sense of this insanely difficult language. I've nearly finished my first semester and am already booked up for the second,

Amazing Ulpan. With great teachers and absolutely great program.

I've lived in Israel for 6 years and have never seen an ulpan like this. I've been to 4 different ulpans and citizen cafe was my 5th and will probably be 6th and 7th until I'm completely fluent. They don't teach like other ulpans I've been to. They all teach the same way excet for this one. I think this one finally got it right.

My experience in Oolpan has been nothing short of excellent. It starts with an outstanding teacher, who remembers every habit and stumbling block I hit and helps me overcome them. Then layer on a small group (only 7 in mine), 90 minute classes where you don't lose focus and techniques that ensure that you build confidence and vocabulary on a daily basis. I understand more of what I hear every day and can express myself better and feel much more connected. Plus it's fun!!
