No doubt it's d ULPAN if your target is to use Hebrew as a daily language instead of reading Hebrew literature;) The teaching team obviously has done efforts to make sure every key points on the class can be integrated into students' next minute communication with locals. There are lots of listening and speaking on the class and each minute worthies the pennies. My friend with zero Hebrew learning before started speaking easy sentences and understanding what's around her after 2 weeks while I started in the mid level and managed to do simple business meetings after a few weeks.
Besides, the atmosphere is really good with the open office.
For anyone who wants to start speaking Hebrew asap, I would recommend citizen cafe.

I truly thought I was going to be one of those people who never learns Hebrew. But Efrat’s very original method managed to penetrate even my not-very-lingual brain! I hated regular ulpan; I hated learning French at school but these classes were highly participate and really varied and practical - I couldn’t fade off and disengage. I even enjoyed doing the homework. (Admittedly, it wasn't like regular homework - it involved watching TV shows and reading Facebook posts etc). Also, over time, I retained what I learnt in those classes. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

My lessons at Citizen Cafe were one of the greatest highlights of my time in Israel. I am so glad I found this unconventional, effective and welcoming ulpan. The method is very practical and builds confidence quickly. It’s all about focusing on what sentences/words will help you get around in Israel, and what you’ll hear on the street — which means that what your learning is being informally reinforced on a daily basis. My teacher, Mickey, made our one-on-one lessons fun and engaging. She was sympathetic to the challenges and the sessions felt more like hanging out with a friend than that traditional teacher-student relationship. I quickly realized how the method was working and felt my confidence speaking in hebrew increase exponentially. Citizen Cafe also hosts fun events that connect you to the wider expat or new-to-Israel community, which helps you to build your own network....

I really enjoyed my ulpan experience at Citizen Cafe. There was a fun vibe that made me look forward to coming to class. The unique training method allowed me to retain information better (where I had not been successful with other ulpans) and helped me gain the confidence to actually use Hebrew day-to-day.

It took me a long time to find an ulpan in tel aviv that suited my learning style and requirements. Citizen Cafe is idel as there are no text books and no long class hours. I had a great time learning Hebrew here and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun place to study that's not rigid or dull.
