I didn't think it was possible to learn a foreign language this quickly and this enjoyably. CC's methodology is truly unique and innovative and I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone (like myself) who has struggled to learn a foreign language using more traditional methods. The teachers are engaging, professional, and their expertise is undeniable. Even after 8 hours of ZOOM for my professional work, I am always happy and motivated to join my ZOOM CC class in the evening.It is that much fun!!

I have been learning Hebrew my whole life and have struggled to improve. I learned more in one semester than I have in the many years since I was in high school. I am able to communicate easier and more fluently. Not only has my vocabulary grown but I am much more at ease in conversation. On to the second semester!

Excellent method for learning Hebrew - and so much fun!

Citizen Cafe is a great place to learn Hebrew. Their method is very practical and focuses on speaking like Israelis speak. The goal is for you to be functional and have the tools you need to get around and participate in everyday life. The added benefit is how much fun I have had in the class. The lessons are on Zoom in small groups. We learn from each other and with each other and both of the teachers I have had have been excellent. Our class chose to stay together for the second semester and during these times of lockdown and uncertainty, it has been great to interact with new people who share my interest in Hebrew. There are also regular practice sessions run by more advanced students. I try to attend as many of those as my schedule permits, because it really helps.
