Really 3 1/2 stars. So sorry this review is late - I thought I submitted one at the end of class. But now I will dive in!

Loved the course - the oral method and focus on spoken Hebrew is great and the learning was strong - I really didn't have a good grasp on past tense and now feel much more confident. Eli is a super smart, well rounded guy, with a strong linguistic background and a clear love of media personalities and music. He has lots of patience, and ran the class at a good pace. He also has a nice personality, and I appreciate how hard he works to keep the class moving apace. BUT: Eli does not take advantage of teachable moments - when a good question is asked, he sometimes prefers to continue rather than sidetrack .I appreciate that because he has clear goals for each class. I’m really very happy with my decision to learn Hebrew through Citizen Cafe. The pace of the program was perfect and the teacher for our class was fantastic...engaging and patient all the way. In addition to the classes, I also took advantage of the practice groups on Sunday and some during the week. I am continuing on to the next level.

If you are considering learning Hebrew, I would strongly recommend Citizen Cafe TLV.
