Hebrew School was NEVER like this. CitizenCafe lessons are fast-paced, fun and even funny.

After trying many Hebrew language programs, I''m learning Hebrew instead of learning about Hebrew! Tuition covers 3 hours of class-time per week, up to 8 hours of teacher-supervised practice per week, and access to recordings and notes. A good dollar value. I'm thrilled that I found Citizen Cafe.

Citizen Café is an amazing community. I set out to learn more Hebrew and become better at speaking but I gained soo much more! The online courses are super engaging and fun and you actually speak the entire time. My level has gone up increasingly. Im meeting people from all over the world as well from all walks of life but with one common goal, learning Hebrew.

I truly wish this was in existence when I made Aliyah!! While I've tested out of the Ulpan system (thanks to having Hebrew kicked into me during my IDF service) I've been lacking the professional, slang, and practical vocabulary that I've wanted. Enter Citizen Café Tel Aviv! Their program breaks Hebrew down to 11 different levels, focuses on rapidly learning speech (so there's no time to translate in your head, making sure that you actually learn, deeply, the language) and then moving on to reading/writing. I am on level 9 of 11, and I look forward to completing level 10/11 in person in Tel Aviv. I cannot recommend this school, their teachers, and modality enough.
