Citizen Café Tel Aviv

I spontaneously decided to take a Hebrew course, without any previous knowledge of the language at all. I love languages and linguistics and was immediately taken by the warm and energetic personalities of the employees that I met on my free get-to-know you Zoom video call. The lead-up to the beginning of the semester was well-organized in terms of logistics and kept me excited too. The first class made a great impression, from the immediate immersion to the fast-paced, and fun atmosphere that my teacher Yoav created. The group size is small enough to allow for everyone to get to talk frequently and Yoav made sure to call on everyone equally. The format on Zoom and the tools offered on top of that, the mix of media and learning techniques was perfectly balanced. The homework was constructive and not too much, but also not too little. The ulpan experience at citizen cafe was better than I could have ever expected. I learned so much and it was a comfortable atmosphere and i learned content that I can use. It was fun and I’m excited to continue. I love the vibe and the way they teach. Would recommend to anyone

This is the best language program I’ve ever taken. Well designed for people of all strengths. Learning a language has always been a challenge for me and they teach in a manner that is fun and encourages regular use until the language becomes second nature. Teachers are warm and encouraging and classes are a joy.
