I loved Citizen Cafe for the following reasons: 1. The curriculum is organized. 2. There are Videos of each class so you can review 3. My classmates are fun and enthusiastic 4. The amount of work is not overwhelming, but is challenging. 5. Most important is my Morah (teacher), Shira is an incredible educator. She runs the class efficiently, with lots of humor, is very supportive and responsive to questions in class or after class. Shira keeps the class going quickly, so there is no chance to get bored and she keeps us on our toes...I would not be surprised if Shira was an Officer in the Military, as she is a good role model and leader for her students..6. The class is dialogue driven, so practicing Hebrew is the main ingredient for success. 7. I like fact that we learn Hebrew slang and the current lingo of the day, rather than simply formalized Hebrew, which would make it harder to...

In short, the Citizen Cafe teaching method works!! Language is about communication and with Citizen Cafe we were communicating with each other from the word go. The teachers are extremely professional, very friendly, know their stuff, keep everyone on message throughout each class, make you laugh, and above all they teach you Hebrew very effectively. The classes are fun and the students all help each other. 10 out of 10 for everything Citizen Cafe! I am looking forward to the next level!!
