Citizen Café Tel Aviv

I'm just blown away by this company and it's technique for teaching the Hebrew language. Right from the start the process was flawless. From getting assessed to the correct level to the sales process, this company gets full marks! The teachers are hand selected who have a love of the language and know exactly how to teach it too. Now about learning Hebrew ... well I had learned a bit from school and then had some private lessons and all but gave up hope of ever learning this language. Luckily I came across Citizen Cafe and the rest is now history. I am certainly well on my way to being able to pick up this language in a great, fun environment where you don't even realise that you are learning. Keep up the unbelievable work you do guys!

I have had a great experience, not only because of the emphasis on speaking, but also because it has been a lot of fun with excellent teachers and interesting students. It all makes me WANT to continue, rather than feel that I have to!

I attended to 3 Citizen Cafe classes this year. I am extremelly pleased about their metodology. All teachers have been extremelly professional and helpfull. To recommend to all those willing to learn day-to-day hebrew.

This is going to be a different type of review... I joined Citizens Cafe and lasted exactly ONE class... Without boring you, I was not going to be able to keep up and give the dedication and effort into learning Hebrew with them... I just wanted to give anyone considering taking the class my experience with joining Citizens Cafe to quitting Citizens Cafe..

The enrollment process was fun and easy. You took a "mini" class to see where to place you, you then talk to an enrollment counselor and go over the options and see what fits best for you.

After picking a start date, you get a number of emails describing the upcoming semester and what you need to prepare ahead of time. Then the first day of class. The teacher was AMAZING! Citizen Cafe is so many things! I began my 5th class in July. It has been an amazing experience and I highly recommend. It is challenging, fun, rewarding! It allowed me during COVID to continue to socialize with people from all over the world with so many similarities to myself . Love all my fellow students. Everyone is so into learning and helping each other. The staff in all aspects are beyond amazing. The teachers are all fabulous. The amount I have learned in the past two years is astounding to me. I am Looking forward to my next class! and visiting CC in person this October.

I'm delighted to leave a review about my experience learning Hebrew at Citizen Cafe. I'm in my 3rd semester of learning and find the classes super fun, challenging and highly rewarding. As great as it is to learn and get to know people from all over the world, it is extraordinary to be taught by a master teacher who engages, and pushes me outside my comfort zone. The method of teaching here is unique. I initially questioned the method as I am more of a visual learner but in time, when you trust this method, it is highly effective. Thank you Citizen Cafe for providing the highest level of Hebrew education I have ever known.

I started with Citizen Cafe in October 2020 and I cannot believe it’s coming up on 3 years of consistently learning Hebrew. I have learned so much in this short time, but almost as importantly, have had fun doing it and made great friends along the way. And while of course I still have a long way to go, I now have the confidence to carry on a full conversation in Hebrew. I can ask for directions, converse with a taxi driver, order in a restaurant, haggle in the shuk. Citizen Cafe Tel Aviv uses a wonderful unique approach to learning modern Hebrew, and I will be forever grateful for having discovered this amazing community.

Citizen cafe is wonderful. I'm having a great time and everyone is so impressed with my progress in Hebrew fluency.
All the teachers are well trained and what's best, is they teach you things that you actually need to know. Things that come up in daily conversations. So I get to use what I've learned, which in turn allows me to actually remember what I've learned over long periods of time.
I highly recommend anyone who is struggling to bring their Hebrew to the next level so try a course with them.
