Citizen Café Tel Aviv

In the beginning of this program I had a great experience. had a great experience this semester. My former teachers was very professional and cared deeply about how the students in our class learned. He made sure everyone had equal opportunity to participate and addressed everyone’s questions. Special shout to you my favorite, outstanding teachers Kundra, Shira, Lior and Yska who really made my experience so positive. Special thanks to Tsafi who also encouraged me to continue learning. Unfortunately this has all turned south now. During my most recent semester with Yanir, he has been nothing more than rude and disrespectful. The so-called education manager, Gili Governam has basically made sure to have me removed from the program. I had asked her if I could be switched to a different section of the same level which she said is impossible. I'm not even sure what...

beware of high pressure sales tactics. they call this “an assessment” which for me quickly turned into an aggressive sales pitch - demanding to sign right away etc. they want the money for about 20 lessons upfront and those are super expensive for group sessions

two stars not one because the teachers seemed quite decent but the sales dude omg. i feel bad the teachers have to work for such a sketchy outfit.

I have learned so much! It is such a great community, the teachers are awesome, and their methodology makes it so everything we learn I remember.

It is useful to learn Hebrew for beginner as business person, rather than Ulpan course.

Citizen Cafe is a fun sociable way to learn Hebrew. Tal, our teacher is very patient, has a great sense of humour and a fantastic teacher. Could not recommend Citizen ppl Cafe highly enough!
