Like the atmosphere

My daughter and I went on a Saturday afternoon. My daughter has Celiac, so we needed gluten-free options. They have amazing gluten-free as well as vegetarian options. Delicious food, great service!!

Our first visit here...This place is fabulous! Service was quick, and our friendly waitress was honest about her favorite menu items. Sushi is phenomenal and I’m not ashamed to say I almost cried when I took that first bite. Yes. It’s that good. House made chips are heavenly. We are from 2 hours away but will definitely make the trip again!!

I stumbled upon this place while exploring northern Indiana around Elkhart. It's a nice Pub with great french fries and very friendly service. The brisket sandwich could probably use a little work. It was kind of fatty in tough. Otherwise I would give a five star rating. I was there when they opened around lunch time and it wasn't very busy but I understand that they are packed during happy hour. I would definitely return for another visit.

Upon arrival we were told there was a 15 min wait for a table...including the tables in the bar.. 2 guys walked in and went to a table in the bar. When we asked the hostess about this she said they were already seated .. ugh!

After we were seated, we were told there was 1 hr 45 min wait for sushi. When we asked why we weren’t told this when we arrived, we were told “ that the owner doesn’t want us to leave at the door”.. we left after finishing our drink.

We felt sorry sushi chef as well! He looks so stressed! The door to the kitchen was also open and the staff looked inefficient and frustrated as well.

This was exactly the same story when we went to chubby trout a few months ago. Sorry, but we can’t recommend it and won’t be back!

Terrible service and food not worth waiting for 1hr 45 min!!!
