Children's Lighthouse Olathe

There are some exceptional teachers and directors here. They are really good at communicating and working through issues with us. Some things can be unorganized which is mainly caused by the ownership lacking direction. Staff turnover is a big issue like in many places.

Attentive and caring staff.
They made the transition to daycare for our toddler as painless as it could be and helped her settle in. All the staff are supportive of both the children's needs as well as providing comfort to the parents knowing that the little ones are well cared for.

Updates and pictures are available throughout the day and they do a great job at showing the little ones having fun.

I absolutely love all the teachers my child has had and has now. The management at this location are very nice, caring, and communicative with me. I wouldn't change anything or even think to send my child anywhere else. And happy to say they'll nourish, teach, and love on my new baby very soon. They are the best daycare around. I never have to worry about my child when she's there. Thank you for everything you all do! It's always a great feeling when your child is so excited about going to daycare. Wanting many more year's with the children's lighthouse family.

Our daughter loves her teachers! It gives me such a warm feeling to see our 18mo old run to her teacher and hug their leg when I drop her off. They started teaching her sign language early on (which was incredibly helpful at home!) and to say "please" and "thank you." She gets to go outside and play on the playground equipment, they blow bubbles in the classroom, do art projects, learn to eat at the table with the other kids (which is impressive to watch all those little people at the table together on the cameras!), and do all sorts of fun projects like different crafts, coloring, painting, playing games, and singing songs! I had a really good feeling walking in when we first checked out the facility when she was 3mo old, and I'm so grateful to all the staff for everything they do, and have done, to take care of her! We LOVE our baby’s teachers at Children’s Lighthouse in Olathe. She is full of smiles when we drop her off and pick her up. As first time parents, it was as important for us to feel like she was in an environment that cared as much as we do. Amazing infant room! ❤️ They seem to know when this momma needs more pictures when I miss her. ❤️

Children's Lighthouse is an amazing center that truly cares about the social and emotional well being of each child! Their curriculum is developmentally appropriate and the teachers find new and creative ways to teach and reinforce foundational skills. My daughter absolutely loves going to Daycare every day, which as a Mom makes my heart so happy! CLH has been a wonderful home for both of our girls!
