My wife and I didn’t know where to bring our new girl when it came to daycare. We went to many places to see what they offered and the prices. The Lighthosue gave us a veterans discount and the people are amazing. We will bring our next kid to them as well. 10/10.

I worked at Children’s Lighthouse (Nottingham location) for about a year and a half. While I genuinely enjoyed working with the children and had good relationships with some of my coworkers, I left extremely disappointed in how I was treated when leaving the job. My final paycheck was cut, and I was not paid for all the hours I worked. This is a direct violation of federal and state labor laws.

I tried to resolve the issue with management, but nothing was corrected, and I ultimately had to file a complaint with the Department of Labor. I’m sharing this so others are aware — keep track of your hours and know your rights.

I would absolutely recommend this location to parents looking for a place for their children — the kids were always the best part of the job. However, I would not recommend working here as an employee unless significant changes are made in how...

My daughter loves it here, everyone is so welcoming and respectful, kind and feeling very family here. It takes alot for me to trust anyone with my child. But this place definitely exceeded my expectations and I completely trust them.

We have had an amazing experience with Children’s Lighthouse of Katy-Nottingham over the years! My daughter started here just after she turned three, and from day one, she absolutely loved it. The teachers have always been caring, nurturing, and engaging, making her feel comfortable and excited to learn and grow. The Director, Jen, and Assistant Director, Jessica, are incredible—they truly care about the kids and create a warm, welcoming environment for both children and parents.

Now that she’s older, she attends their after-school program, which has been fantastic. During the summer, she participates in their summer camp, which is packed with exciting activities and field trips. Every day brings a new adventure, and she always comes home with fun stories to share.

They are always helpful and go the extra mile for the kids. My son really enjoys the extra curricular activities the school has to offer in addition to a great education.

We LOVE this location for SOOOO many reasons!! The management and the staff feel like family and treat our 3 year old as if she were their own! She has learned so much and is growing into an amazing kiddo both academically and socially! We love the Lighthouse and can’t recommend them enough!!

My 3 year old loves to go to school everyday. They have taken great care of him even with some special medical needs.
