Children's Lighthouse Lake Houston

When I decided to send my daughter to preschool, I searched all around the area for a place that not only felt right, but provided a strong educational foundation. Before touring Lighthouse, I was actually starting to think my standards were to high because I toured the majority of the preschools in the area and always left somewhat disappointed. Lighthouse was definitely a breath of fresh air and was exactly what I was looking for in terms of a safe effective learning environment. The staff are very warm and welcoming, the facility is clean, and the fact that they have cameras so that you can check in at any moment was a definite plus.

I chose Lighthouse not because we needed a daycare (I am stay at home mom), but because I wanted my daughter to start the transition to preschool and to start gaining a sense of independence (she is 3 years old). Boy was it a tough...

Amazing childcare in the Summerwood Subdivision of Northeast Houston. Teachers and curriculum are great, their summer program is packed with amazing field trips that my daughter loved, all the food is cooked fresh on-site and the staff is very friendly, welcoming and quick to help with any questions.

My husband and I are so pleased with Children's Lighthouse - Lake Houston. We absolutely love the staff and teachers. My son started in room 5 and is now in room 7. He loves going to "school" every day and he learns so much and continues to surprise my husband and I with what he knows. In addition to the great atmosphere, I also love that Soccer Shots of Humble is partnered with Children's Lighthouse - Lake Houston. My son loves being able to play soccer on Monday's (really, it's what gets him out of bed in the morning!). After having my son in two daycare's prior, I'm so thankful to find a daycare that works for my son. A huge thank you to Ms. Kelly, Ms. Lori, Ms. Merari, Ms. Amy and my son's teachers for being amazing!

We love this school very much. Our son was diagnosed with ADHD and we have had problems in previous schools (church daycares). The teachers here are very good and patient and they have been a perfect match for our son. Now he likes going to school and has been able to make lots of friends. The school is also very clean, new, organized and they do lots of fun activities for the kids. The staff is very cordial and helps you with any issue you might have.

Awesome owner and Awesome teachers. Great curriculum my 2.5 yr old has excelled so much in a short period of time. She is now speaking full sentences and can hold a conversation. Highly recommended!

My son began going to Children’s Lighthouse when he was 3 1/2 years old. We were concerned because his speech wasn’t at the level it should have been for his age. Children’s Lighthouse has worked with him and we no longer have concerns. The staff is awesome and super friendly!

The staff has always been warm and inviting. This location cares about the community and it shows. The staff is always at local community events throughout the year. We will take our son to some of these events and he lights up every time he gets to see the friendly faces that he has come to love.
