While replacing my washing machine hoses, the hot and cold shut-off valves developed a very slow leak. After tightening both, the hot valve still had a leak. From pictures, Jose (plumber) could tell the Home Depot plumbing expert sold me the wrong replacement parts. Jose replaced my valves with the correct parts he bought from Home Depot. Now, my valves are leak-free.

By the way, Cardinal Plumbing has a phone number for exchanging text messages that I got from Angel (office scheduler). I sent a picture of my old valves. In this case, I also sent an image of my Home Depot parts. This gave Jose an idea of what he was working with ahead of time and that he needed to purchase the right parts.
