The Goddard School

Our son has been enrolled at The Goddard School for about two and a half years and his younger sister joined him this past fall. During this time, we have been consistently impressed by the compassion and care of teachers and staff, as well as how much our kids have learned and grown during their time in daycare. We especially appreciate Ms. Michelle, Ms. Lizett, Ms. Maribel, Ms. Sasha, Ms. Kassie, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Charia, and Ms. Kaelyn.

We feel fortunate to have great teachers like Ms. Miche, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Kassie, Ms. Zaida, and Ms. Helen watch over and nurture our child. We can feel their teaching immensely when our child is with us at home. We appreciate all their hard work.

It is a tough thing to leave your baby in the care of others, especially as a first time parent. We have really appreciated the staff at Goddard and how they help you get comfortable with this new normal. Ms. Michelle & Ms. Lizett were so warm and welcoming from the first day we met them. They do so many activities with the kids throughout the day and I immediately knew our son was going to be very well cared for!

Our son just started at the Goddard School and it has been a great experience thus far. Infant 1 teacher Ms. Michelle does an amazing job with the room overall and is helpful in making recommendations based on the classroom experience. The front office staff are wonderful and available for any questions or needs. We're excited for our son's continued growth at this location!

I was very nervous to send my son to daycare after he was home with a nanny for his first 18 months but after touring Goddard in Alexandria and meeting some of the teachers, I was reassured that he would be well taken care of. It’s been a year and we could not be happier with the program and the teachers. We are so lucky that my son gets to learn with Ms. Charia everyday, he even talks about her outside of school. Ms. Kaelyn in Toddler 1 is also fantastic. I also have to mention Ms. Crystal who was my son’s first teacher and was tremendous help transitioning my son into his new environment.

Ms. Lindsey and Ms. Jennifer have played a pivotal role in making my child’s experience truly exceptional. With a perfect blend of warmth and expertise, they created an engaging and supportive environment. Their genuine care and skillful guidance fostered my child’s love for learning, turning each day into a delightful adventure. I’m immensely grateful for the positive impacts they have had on my child’s early education journey.

We have had a great experience with the Goddard School. Our children are well loved and taken care of here. Ms. Miche is great with our youngest who had a difficult timing transitioning.

I was talking to Ms Charia about the toddler program for my daughter and you could tell by her expertise this school would be a great fit for what i am looking for .

Shouting out Ms. Charia she’s amazing with the children and her love for the children shows in her commitment to seeing them grow. It’s rare to find childcare providers that go above and beyond she definitely deserves all the praise.
