Miss Leslie (PreK 2) is an amazing teacher! Our daughter has had the privilege of having her for the past 2 years and she’s been instrumental in helping prepare our daughter for Kindergarten!

We are very pleased and excited to have Miss Leslie and Ms Mary being the teachers who lead our baby girls class. We know she is in good hands!

I am very happy with the attention the school gives to every detail of the kids’ curriculum. Our daughter loves the fun learning environment. Special thanks to Ms. Shantel and Ms. Becky for keeping the kids excited.

We have attended Goddard Alexandria West for two years now and I am so happy that this is where we landed when we first moved to the DC area. In that time we have had the best teachers. Especially Ms. Mary & Ms. Leslie who teach the Pre-K2 class. Our son graduated from PreK2 with Ms. Mary last year and we credit her for ensuring that he was truly ready for kindergarten. Seriously THE BEST. This year, our daughter is in that class and, with the addition of Ms. Leslie to PreK2, we are incredibly happy. So much so that- when I could have moved our daughter to a closer school at the beginning of the year - I chose not to because they really are that wonderful. I really appreciate the honesty in their communication. They are fun and connect with the kiddos with also teaching valuable skills and lessons. This school and these teachers have truly been blessing to us!

Our family could not be happier with the Goddard School and especially with Ms. Leslie and Ms. Mary in the Pre-K 2 classroom. My daughter comes home every day and tells me about all the things she is learning from them and it’s amazing to see how much she has grown this past year. They are caring, kind, and fun teachers and we feel so lucky to have them teaching our daughter.

Sending my child to the Goddard school has been an absolute delight. Having just moved to this country and not knowing the language, I was amazed by how smoothly my child transitioned into this new environment. Ms. Becky and Ms. Shantel were absolutely fantastic in making her feel welcome and giving her the care she needed. How she runs to give Ms Becky a hug every morning gives me the comfort that I am leaving my daughter in perfect hands. I also really appreciate the helpful updates Ms. Shantel gives me at pick-up time about how my daughter's day went. The front office staff are very friendly - they know every child by their name. They are well organized are always open to respond to my questions and requests.

My daughter comes home happy, educated, and polite. We are so proud of her learning, development and growth during her time at Goddard School. I can't speak highly enough of the staff, their vision, and execution.

Ms. Mary and Ms. Leslie are the heart and soul of our pre-K classroom, but I can’t forget to mention Ms. Jennifer, who steps in with such care and dedication when I pick up my child. Together, they create a nurturing environment where my child thrives. Thank you to all three amazing teachers for your dedication and love!

Our daughter has been attending the Goddard school for the last 7 months and we could not be happier with it. She has learned so much from her Pre-K1 teachers, Ms. Gabby and Ms. Nina. They both are nurturing and care for the kids as if they are their own, while also promoting independence and creativity. Since our daughter has attended the school, she has advanced in writing, social skills, arts and drawing, and cooperative learning. We are so happy we chose this school. Also, the front staff, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Traleece and Ms. Sara are always available to help and provide guidance. We love Goddard Alexandria West
