The Goddard School

We have been so impressed by Goddard. We enrolled when our son was 6 months, and Ms. Michelle made our experience so special, and made us feel so comfortable about leaving our little one (which was really hard for me!). Our son absolutely loves her and even reaches for her when we drop him off! It is truly heart warming. Michelle also helped us immensely to keep up with the milestones (starting solids, switching to sippy cups, getting on a proper sleep schedule, wearing shoes to help with walking)—things that, as a first time mom, were all new to me. The class was always clean and well-kept and the vibes are always happy and loving.

My wife and I are very happy with this daycare. The staff are always helpful and professional. Big shoutout to Traleece and Andrea, they are the biggest reason why we love this daycare. Also we see major improve in are daughter speech and learning achievements everyday. You can tell Goddard Schools of Alexandria care about their students and parents. I highly recommend this daycare!!!!

Ms Shantel is an exceptional teacher the love and passion that she has for kids is amazing I have never met a teacher as sweet as Ms Shantel she is very attentive to the children's need any child that is in her care is in great hands she goes above and beyond everyday to ensure that the children that are in her care needs are met and they are learning it is a blessing to have her as a teacher I can't say it enough amazing amazing amazing

I'm just here to let parent know, Shantel and Becky are phenomenal 👌🏾. They make sure the kids are well learned and well kept. It's sad to say, but most of the teachers of today aren't passionate about this very important role in society. Shantel and Becky are top tier teachers!!!!

It is a tough thing to leave your baby in the care of others, especially as a first-time parent. We have really appreciated the staff at Goddard and I wanna give a special Thank you to Shantel for being a wonderful individual always in a good spirit my kid comes home and chats about her all day long Thank you Goddard and Ms.Shantel keep up the Good work.

UPDATE: my sons (age 4 in June; age 2 in July) are absolutely thriving at Goddard! Where do I start?! The activities the teachers do throughout the day, the organization and routine (which I have learned is super important for toddlers) professionalism of the staff, communication with parents, and even catered lunches… are just a few of the things that make the experience at Goddard Alexandria unparalleled. As a mom who always felt I would prefer to spend the day with my kids, I know that my children would be missing out on so much if they were not at Goddard… it gives them a great education, confidence, nurturing caregivers, fun activities, and social skills.

The biggest thing of all is the staff. Ms. Zaida , Ms. Helen and Ms. Kassie in first steps are amazing. They are so detail oriented and organized - as a mom of two active boys 2 years apart, I’m constantly...
