The Goddard School

I highly recommend The Goddard School of Alexandria West! Our almost 10 month old has been there since he was 4 months old in the Infant 1 classroom. As new parents, it was hard to leave our son with strangers, but the staff, especially his teacher Ms. Michelle made us feel so comfortable. Now we're moving out of state, and we wish we could take her with us! She's so sweet, knowledgeable, and communicative. Ms. Lizett, Ms. Sasha, and the other teachers he's had are also so great with him. The directors and front staff — Ms. Traleece, Ms. Andrea, and Ms. Sarah are also great. They greet us daily and seem to know all of the kids and parents’ names which is so welcoming.

The curriculum, even for just infants, is incredible! They aren’t just being taken care of, they’re doing lessons and having fun — all sorts of creative sensory activities, arts & crafts, yoga, outdoor...

We have found the Goddard School of Alexandria West provides an ideal environment, optimal student to teacher ratio, and caring staff to nurture our child. Although she has only been enrolled for a short time, the positive impact on her growth and development has been tremendous.

We love the Goddard School. Our two sons have been at the school almost since they opened at this location and have had a great time! They’ve learned a lot and made good friends. They love the teachers who always greet them by name despite not being in the same classroom. The school is warm and caring. The Director and support staff are always willing to go the extra mile and are quite responsive. The owners are customer service oriented and incredibly kind. The facility is beautiful and the kids love the playground! We will be staying here until the kids go to Kindergarten.

This school has been wonderful for our daughter. She is excited everyday to go to school to see her friends and teachers, and she has learned so much. The staff does an amazing job creating activities to keep the children engaged and having fun, and also creates a sense of involvement and community with the families of the school. The school administrators take school security and safety seriously, and I know my child is well-taken care off during each day in a nurturing, positive, and loving environment.

The Goddard School of Alexandria is the best, the faculty and staff are amazing. Our son has been there for the last one year and he’s having a great time learning and truly enjoying. He has grown both academically and socially.
Our son has developed great relationships with his class friends as well as his teachers, specially Ms. Becky and Ms. Shantel. They are nice, caring, attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

Shout out to Ms. Ronnique, Mary, Leslie, Becky, and Shantel! Both of my children (3 and 5 y.o.) have had an amazing experience at Goddard. The admin staff are all very friendly and they are extremely organized. BONUS: There are a lot of wonderful family events. 10/10

This place is a godsend! My son has been going here for a little over a month. This is his first time going to a daycare and the transition has been surprisingly easy. He did have an adjustment period the first week where he struggled a little (which we expected). My kiddo is now so excited to go every morning. The staff, especially the front office ladies, Ms. Che, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Jennifer, and Ms. Dezere are phenomenal and so communicative with me. And I so appreciate how included I feel in his day with all the updates I get through their app. I’m an anxious parent and have always worried about daycares but Goddard has given me peace of mind when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of my son. I am just so grateful for them. I would give them more stars if I could because they absolutely deserve them.
