The Goddard School

I like that the owner is involved with the school, which makes a difference in the quality. Other preschools I considered, particularly the corporate-run daycares, seem to have a lot of turnover vs The Goddard School. I highly recommend this childcare program!

Hello everyone!
My name is Daniel.
Time flies, but memories last forever. On this special day, I feel both excited and reluctant to leave. Here, I have spent the most innocent and joyful time of my life.
During my time in Goddard school, I learned to share, to cooperate, and even to express my little world in English.
I love my teachers and classmates.

We had a truly best experience with Goddard School of Alexandria and we’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for our son and daughter during their time here. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff made us feel welcomed, supported, and confident in the care they receiving.

The curriculum was both engaging and age-appropriate, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Every day, my son came home excited to share what he learned—from letters and numbers to art works. Most importantly, he built strong friendships and developed a love for learning that we hope will stay with him for years to come.

Ms Gabby and Ms. Jennifer were carrying, attentive, and communicating regularly on his progress. We always felt like we were part of a community that truly cared about our child’s development.

I am in awe at how they remember everyone’s names, and their kindness. It is not just the excellent care and cleanliness of the facility, but their thoughtfulness in both small and big ways. There are curated events for all ages, celebrations of their teachers, and the daily sticker give away to any and all kids as they head out. We want to give a special shout out to our son’s teachers Ms. Helen and Ms. Crystal who take great care of him. We also want to thank Ms. Kassie, Ms. Lashasha, and Ms. Amanda. Last, special thanks for Ms. Keke who makes sure everyone is fed.

I feel incredibly grateful to have Ms. Mary Bolton as my child’s Pre-K II teacher. From the very first day, she created a warm, nurturing, and joyful environment where my child felt safe, seen, and excited to learn. Her patience, creativity, and genuine love for her students shine through in everything she does—whether it's story time, messy crafts, or teaching the ABCs. My son loves her and talks about her everyday. I am genuinely comfortable having my child in the care of Ms. Mary and I am glad that I chose The Goddard School.

I am incredibly grateful to have Ms. Mary as my child’s Pre-K teacher. From the very first day, she created a warm, nurturing, and joyful environment. My child felt safe, seen, and excited to learn.

Our son has had a great experience here. The teachers, aides and front office staff have made this a nurturing environment that he thrives in. He especially loves his teacher Ms. Lizzet, who is incredible with the kids. Highly recommend!

Our journey with The Goddard School began when our son started in the Infant room at just 10 weeks old. From day one, every teacher has been kind, attentive, and truly invested in the well-being of the children. Their support through each transition has been invaluable, always keeping open communication.
Now, nearly three years later, we continue to love our daycare experience. The teachers are incredibly patient, creative, and always coming up with fun activities that keep our little one engaged. Every day after school, he excitedly asks to see “pictures at school” and talks nonstop about his friends and teachers.
A special thank you to all the teachers especially for Ms. Kaelyn and Ms. Brittany, who make each day a learning adventure and have played such an important role in helping our son grow.
