Buchan Nursery

We have been very pleased with The Buchan Nursery over our two year plus journey with them. The staff are well trained, good communicators and work diligently in their care and early teaching. Our child is delighted to attend each session and has learnt so much, including important social skills. Outside play was a key reason that we selected The Buchan Nursery and this along with the wider facilities of the school and it’s staff have provided wonderful opportunities for learning and development. Our son has settled in really well, thanks to the enthusiastic and experienced staff, and the creative learning environment offered by The Buchan Pre-School.

We have just logged on to the First Steps Parent Link app for the first time, and we think it is a wonderful tool for keeping us involved in our child's days. The updates are varied and detailed, with lots of lovely pictures, as well as explicit references made to the EYFS Framework, which is great. Read more >

I can't speak highly enough about my experience at hopes and dreams at Buchan. The staff have been amazing and are always so welcoming. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds with eating different food at lunch and just loves going to nursery so much. She can't wait to get there and loves all the teachers so much. The warmth, solidarity and unwavering support for one another as a team is what stands out from the staff at the Buchan nursery. I have never in the 2years of my daughter attending had any concerns regarding her welfare. She has received first rate care from day one, with time, dedication to her as an individual and her development has been an absolute joy to see. I would heartily recommend the establishment to all. I cannot recommend the Buchan nursery enough - there aren't enough stars!
It has been the most wonderful learning experience for our little girl and the fantastic team have helped to guide her through these early stages of development with total dedication and professionalism. The range of activities and facilities is second to none and the access to the outside area of the Buchan grounds is a brilliant additional learning space. The staff are all excellent and we can't thank them enough for the fabulous start in life they have given our daughter. Our experience of The Buchan Nursery has been nothing but positive. From meeting Lisa and her team at the Open Day, we have received such a warm welcome and constantly feel assured that we are leaving our child in the safest of care. The children enjoy lots of activities and fun, whilst they develop their emotional and social skills in a positive and caring environment. The staff are very friendly, approachable, are clearly very happy in their work and have made such a positive impact on our child’s development.
