A man of character. I have known Ray for a few years now. He has the heart of a man who wants to be of service to others.

We recently put down a $500 hold on a rental property, not knowing that we would later be asked to pay a double security deposit due to credit concerns. This important detail was never disclosed to us upfront and had we known, we absolutely would not have placed the hold.

When we brought this up, we were told that it had been mentioned during the property walk-through, but that wasn’t the case on our end. Unfortunately, it became a he-said, she-said situation, and we were told the $500 would not be refunded.

We were clear about our financial limitations from the beginning, and if this double deposit policy had been made clear, we wouldn’t have proceeded.

Please be careful… make sure all financial terms are crystal clear in writing before placing any money down. I would personally advise others to stay far away to avoid a similar situation.
