Stephen Barker of AmSpec was extremely thorough in his inspection of my home and very professional in his approach to that inspection. Having not gone through a home inspection in the last 27 years, I was very impressed at all the items which were inspected; however, after making an objective review of those items which needed to be corrected, I found myself wishing that AmSpec would then be more definitive in whether a particular item absolutely needed to be corrected immediately or the corrective action could be delayed and done in the future. But perhaps that is not what home inspection entities should do or can legally do by regulation.
