I called American Leak Detection around noon on December 2, 2021 and ask for a technician to help detect a slow leak our meter was showing. They explained that it would be an additional fee of $150 if they came after 4pm, but they had a tech in Weston (I live in Davie) and if he finished on time she would get him to me early enough to avoid the $150 after hours fee. I expressed my gratitude and was happy to get a call from my gate at 3:28pm announcing the arrival of American Leak Detection. It took Milton, the technician 5 minutes to find the leak because he stepped on the wet ground just 3 feet from the main line water meter. He then told me it was $500, and I told him that I thought we avoided the extra $150 because he arrived before 4pm, he stated it was 3pm. I paid him and called the office when they were open and they confirmed that the after hours fee was for after 4pm. I...

I used American Leak Detectors after contacting the 2 of the big plumbing companies here in South Fl who advertised that they had equipment on their trucks to locate a water main leak in front of the house, when they arrived they had nothing. I sent them away, and contacted this company and it was the best thing I did. If you have a leak get in touch with this company.
