I believe these are franchises and my review pertains to American Leak Detection of Dade and Monroe Counties. Terrible customer service from the scheduling standpoint. The techs who came out to my house were nice enough. But the report was incorrect and that's ultimately what you're paying for.

I had a hot water leak in a home built in 1954 with original plumbing beneath an 8" slab with deep concrete footers. In those days plumbers did not install manifolds so leak detection was a challenge as you can literally hear the leak in the pipes from almost anywhere in the home. Adrian and Mundo came out and went right to work. They were professional, honest, knowledgeable and courteous. Best of all they were true experts. Within a short time they'd narrowed the leak's location to within 12 feet of the hot water heater. The next day I had a plumber come out and when he jack hammered through the slab, we uncovered and repaired the leak. Adrian and Mundo nailed it! Adrian and Mundo and American Leak Locators has my highest recommendation. Thanks fellas!!

Giving these guys one star on price. Charged my father 450$ for less then 2hr of their time for a leak search, when it should only cost 350$ to find a leak whether it takes 1hr or 2hrs. I know what it should cost as i have delt with many leak detection company's over my many years in the pool industry.
I will say, they did find the leak. Just to expensive.

It took some time to find the leak under the slab because it was under a concrete wall, but the technician was within 10 inches. That was impressive. He was very professional and thorough. I would both use them again and recommend them.

They guys that came to the house were fantastic! The Communication from the office on when they would come & return was not great, as it took several tries, because my pool is Larger & Unique. Bottom line...FOUND IT!
