Almosthome Childcare Preschool

As this year draws to a close, we become more aware of our surroundings and the things/people/experiences for which we are grateful.
I wanted to write this to thank the administrative staff (Cindy, Sam, Et Al) for all of the behind-the-scenes work you do to make your centres run so smoothly and the value that you add by organizing events like the special photography days and the Santa Visit.

R. came home from preschool just beaming yesterday after the big man’s visit. She bounded in the house, exclaiming with exuberant joy that Santa had visited and that it was the best day EVER! Thank you so much for being amazing teachers to our daughter. She absolutely adores each and every one of you. We are really going to miss seeing you all each day. You provided so much comfort to our daughter and us from day one. We are extremely lucky to have found a daycare that is so patient, caring and welcoming. It is going to be extremely hard to find a new daycare that comes anywhere near as loving and caring as it is at Almosthome. We are beyond grateful for everything you taught our daughter. You will definitely not be forgotten.

As a new user of the great software program that Almosthome uses to manage their health and safety of their children I find it very user friendly and am grateful for its existence. It gives me access to my financial relationship with the centre, information about my child, etc, and I love it ! Hopefully this app will make its way into more childcare centres. Revolutionary in the world of childcare!

Words cannot express how thankful our family is for our daughter’s pre-K experience at your centre. Your collaborative, caring and encouraging approach with our child and us as parents has been instrumental in aiding our child in behaviour stabilization and confidence building. Our daughter was truly excited to go to school and often talked about her teachers and friends at home. The expertise at Almosthome, combined with genuine and approachable staff is rare! If I'm being completely honest, the thought of placing my child in daycare, when it came time to return to work, terrified me. I felt as though we'd never find a place that would be the "right" fit for our needs. I was so very wrong. Almosthome is an amazing facility with both spectacular owners and staff. Our child was not only cared for, he was loved. If you're looking for a clean, respectful, consistent environment where teachers make you and your child feel like family, then look no further.

We were with Almost Home for two years. I was looking for a program that was both educational and nurturing for my little girl. I definitely got that. By the time she left, she was ready, emotionally, socially, and academically for kindergarten. My daughter still speaks of Almost Home, almost daily. The friendships she built there continue in her kindergarten year, and she can't wait for her best friend (who is a year behind) to join her at her "new school" next year. She built a strong relationship with her teacher and always looks for her car when we drive by. She asks me constantly if she can visit Almost Home. The only challenge I had with AH is the turn over in staff. Despite that, I would highly recommend them.

My son transferred to Almost Home Childcare Preschool after attending another group facility. I was extremely worried about the transition but everyone at AlmostHome Preschool made it so easy for him. They were extremely accommodating and very understanding. I have recommended them to several parents and would trust my next child in their care as well. All of the educators are phenomenal and the owners really care about the kids as well.
