ACE Preferred Inspections team was very helpful to us during our structural home repairs. Their engineering is well versed and experienced in many different home types, making our unique home and repairs seem “normal” to them even though we were quite overwhelmed. We were purchasing a home on Kiawah and we are from the northeast. We didn’t know what inspector to use.....WOW...our buyer’s agent (Charlotte LeMone) pointed us in the right direction.....Professional, diligent, concerned about their client, and flexible. We feel we know everything about our new home. The availability of a professional engineer was a plus as well as the ability to follow up with the inspector ( via phone) at the end of the inspection was so reassuring!!! I bought a new home in January. It was built (in 2008) for personal occupancy by a well known builder, and tenant occupied at the time of the sale. Everyone associated with the sale knew that the tenant would be there indefinitely. We were able to negotiate a minimal adjustment for the few issues our ACE Preferred Inspections professional was able to identify.... but the report said several things were not looked at thoroughly because stuff was in the way, or "it couldn't be determined".

Nine months later, imagine my surprise when some water dripped on my head while delivering a few boxes to the screened porch. With complete access to our new home, we discovered several problems that were apparently "hiding in plain sight" at the time of the inspection.

I am very satisfied with the home inspection that was performed on the home that I am getting ready to close on. The ACE inspector that had performed the inspection was very through, professional, punctual (arrived 20 minutes early to the house location), and knowledgeable.

Ace Preferred performed home inspections on a home I was selling as well as the new home that I purchased. They did a thorough and professional job on the home I was selling and discovered some items that needed repair that I wasn't aware of. I highly recommend using them and I will certainly use them again when the need arises.
