Abide Physical Therapy came to us, to help when we needed it most.

Our 93 year old mother came to visit us, in Arizona from Texas, for 4 weeks during the Holidays. My husband and I wanted to make sure she got a PT session to help alleviate the pain that radiates from her right shoulder to her knee. Dr. Michelle from Abide came to our home and invested over an hour with Momma! She listened to her concerns, answered many questions, and gently addressed the pain. More importantly though, Dr. Michelle left Momma with a sense of agency and confidence in her own well-being! Momma often tells us in the morning and before she goes to bed, “Gotta do the exercises Michelle told me to do!” And then she does them.

I have had quite a puzzling injury involving plevic issues as well as things more geared toward ortho PT. I have seen many people and Dr. Michelle has given me the confidence in knowing she will work with me and do whatever it takes to work with me on my journey to feeling better. She is the missing piece between plevic and orthopedic PT.

Dr. Michelle helped me when no other spine specialists or pain management practices would even remotely try to. I was able to not need reoccurring spinal epidurals and other surgical type treatments that I was previously receiving anymore, but the best part was that the PT techniques that Dr. Michelle taught me were all non-invasive, nor scary and they’ve provided more relief for my injury than any epidural could ever have.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Michelle—she is truly the best physical therapist I’ve ever worked with! After dislocating my shoulder, I came to her for therapy, and the results were immediate. From the very first session, she helped improve my mobility, loosen up my shoulder, and made me feel stronger overall.

Dr. Michelle’s expertise and care made such a difference that I was able to cancel the shoulder surgery I had previously scheduled. She listens carefully to your concerns, provides thoughtful feedback, and even helped me create a personalized gym routine to ease back into working out after my injury.

Michelle helped me rehab my aching shoulder and taught me as she worked. Michelle is very knowledgeable in muscle anatomy and movement. I myself studied exercise and compete in strength sports and having a PT who knows her stuff is extremely important to me. I drove an hour for my appointments with her because she’s THAT GOOD!

I was glad to get some therapy sessions with Dr. Michelle when I could. I should've seen her sooner when I initially had my lower back injury. I took about a month to finally make an appointment to go see her. Not often that your physical therapist also does jiu jitsu at the same academy as you do but it made all the difference because she knows the type of movements and things you need to do to get better.

The dry needling and cupping was probably my favorite part of the therapy. She gave me plenty of good tips to do at home to make a more speedy recovery. Thank you again Dr. Michelle for helping me get back to jiu jitsu sooner.

I don’t know what I did, but MAN did my wrist and arm hurt after an Armlifting competition. I couldn’t even push the start button on my car it hurt so bad. I went to Strongman nationals a few months later and it was still giving me grief…But after months of it not healing on its own, I finally asked Dr Michelle for an appointment, and now that I did I will never wait for anything to heal on its own again! I’d like to thoroughly and completely endorse Dr. Michelle Perry as a fabulous physical therapist. I’ve worked with probably 8-10 physical therapists in my life, a few of them very good. But Dr. Michelle is the best physical therapist I’ve had.

I had severe foot pain from neuropathy (tingling and on the bottom of my feet) and from arthritis (stinging pain from bones I had broken on the top of my left foot a few years earlier). I had tried to soldier on, working with my doctor who prescribed pain pills for both places. In addition I had plantar fasciitis which I’d had for years. It really hurt to walk no matter how hard I tried to fight the pain. I had sort of decided that I would always walk in great pain.

I have been struggling with a reoccurring injury since 2011. On and off lower back issues since. Last time I tweaked my back I thought things would work themselves out as they always did by 2- 3 weeks but this time the pain was getting worse just by standing at work alone. After 5 months of pain daily and having to pop ibuprofen (which I do not like doing) just to get through my work day, I finally decided it was enough.
