I highly, highly recommend Wirks Moving and Storage! We hired them to pack our home and move us locally from Brookhaven to Morningside. Their packing skills are impeccable - NOTHING broke during the move. Moving is never fun, regardless the circumstances but this team of movers were easy going, very detailed, and extremely kind all the while moving our heavy furniture! The crew from Wirks did an excellent job! They were detail oriented and took extra steps to ensure a safe move. They handled items with care then set everything up in my new home.

We used Birks for a household move of 10 miles, which involved a very large amount of stored possessions in addition to the usual furniture. Michael, Deandre, Dante, Q, Dee, and John were unfailingly polite and cheerfully accommodated our wishes about placement of the stored items, carrying items to the basement, main floor, and 2nd floor room as necessary. All of our possessions were treated with care and we were given the opportunity to check placement before the crew wrapped up.

We could tell that Wirks was a different kind of moving company when we met with Britta. Her whole presentation was about keeping our move simple and stress-free. When her quote was 40% below the national company, and they guaranteed a delivery date on a long-distance move just two days after loading, we needed to look no further. The packing and loading crews were exceptional. Danielle and crew were amazingly quick, wrapping three complete sets of delicate china and about 50 pieces of artwork, with all arriving in perfect shape. The loading crew, including Andrew, two Alexes and Alfredo (I think that was his name) packed a whole lot of furniture and 42 years of miscellaneous items tightly onto a single straight truck. Dave and Andrew were outstanding on the unloading side. Their local crew was not quite up to Wirks standards, but Dave and Andrew made sure the job was completed properly.

What an amazing team we had! Starting from our estimator to Glen our crater. Our moving team Fernando and Elvi were so professional, helpful, knowledgeable and a joy to be around. They made this stressful time for us a breeze! They were so careful and detailed with all our items and I would definitely recommend them - as well as use them again! Thank you so very much!
