Way of Escape Folsom

Way of Escape is a fantastic Escape Room experience and Immersive Experience. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very nice and happy to please. The rooms were very clean, and very well designed. The design of the rooms at this venue goes above and beyond the traditional escape room, and provide real challenges in authentic environment and timeline. I would heavily recommend Way of Escape to anyone, from just something to do on a night out to group activities this place will definitely make your night.

I have yet to participate in their escape rooms, however their axe throwing activity was a lot of fun! Looking forward to going back and trying one of their escape rooms aswell! The staff were very polite as well! :D

The experience at Way of Escape Folsom was amazing. Me and my friends we did the cure and we escaped. The clues the puzzles made you think. I feel you can escape if you work together as a group. Overall an amazing experience.

We had a lot of fun as a family varying in age (3-54). The guide was super helpful and patient with us. Highly recommend!!

We did the gingerbread house and had such fun! Our first escape room and we are looking forward to the next one. Mr Mike was awesome, knowledgeable and fun! Give that man a raise!

I had no idea what to expect in an escape room. I was definitely the weakest link in my group. lol. Our group had so much fun and we are still talking about it. Mike was our guide and just wonderful. The axe throwing was pretty great too. Going back soon to perfect my new skill!

The husband and I had a BLAST. We love escape rooms, and have done at least a dozen over the past few years. We did "The Cure" and was able to make it out in the 60 minutes. Then we had added on axe throwing. Out first time doing that. It was a lot of fun even though I did not do well with the axe. That just means I'll have to go back and practice! Great place!

We have done all the escape rooms and axe throwing here and there is a reason we kept going back! We loved the service, the rooms, the puzzles, the fun! Love that the escape rooms have never been dark or evil themed. One time our room had a malfunction and the owner apologized personally and offered us a refund or a credit to come back. We chose to go back because we knew they were genuinely sorry (the mishap wasn't there fault, it was a random accident) and we knew we wanted to keep supporting them. Ax throwing was a blast as well! I think the only suggestion/ comment I would make it that the lane for the ax throwing seemed a bit shorter than some others but for most people probably isn't an issue. We recommend this place to all our friends who are interested in escape rooms.

Went and played the escape room "Cure" with my friends last night. The puzzles made sense and it was a lot of fun! We're already looking forward to making plans to go back and try another room or even try out axe throwing!

Thanks so much Grace for being a great game master! We had so much tonight doing the Gingerbread Escape. So excited about the new rooms! Can’t wait to return soon! Merry Christmas!

Update 12/6/21- I got a call from the owner in Florida and had an amazing talk to him he truly cares about his business and what people think and is making up for the perfect storm that was just an unfortunate timing.

12/4/21- Husband and I took a couple friends axe throwing we have been a few times before. This time the axe wouldn't stick in the wood except on the sides I said something and he just wet it down. towards the end other employees tried to stick it and he said the same thing it's not sticking because there's no wood and the guys who wet it down said "my direction is to just wet it down it is what it is"

So we spent $140 to have a game of who can hit the corners... highly upsetting definitely would not go axe throwing again. The escape room was a ton of fun.

This place is perfect for date night or a family outing. The pirate escape room was immersive, challenging and super fun!
They have a hatchet throwing area and souvenirs. Staff is always knowledgeable and sweet.

Lot's of fun. This was our first time doing an Escape with 4 adults and 4 kids ages 9 to 12. Had a blast and are planning another room soon. Staff was great and made the whole thing a blast. Definitely coming back!
