We absolutely love Vets on the Hudson! The staff is so sweet and informative. The office and exam room are spotless. We have a 5 month old puppy and they have given her amazing care!!

First of all, the facility is clean and beautiful! They are able to do x-rays, ultrasounds, labs on site and have an internal medicine doctor available. There is ample free parking in front of the hospital. Also an easy appointment booking system on their website, which I appreciate! Secondly, Dr. Gjokaj and her team, especially her assistants Viviana and Grace who have attended to my beloved cat and dog, are amazing. You can tell they not only care deeply for their patients, but are also adept clinically. Dr. Gjokaj was able to diagnose the problems in both my fur babies and would take the time to go over a care plan in understandable layman’s terms. She and her assistants are very transparent in the plan and cost so there are no surprises. Everyone here (the office assistants, vet techs, and Dr. Gjokaj) are amazing and reached beyond my expectations! They answer any and all of my questions thoroughly and compassionately, and trust that I can be a little obsessive over my cats' health, they've never made me feel bad about it!

Dr. Gjokaj explains your pets treatment plan for that appointment and any future appointments (since I have a kitten, this has been very helpful). They also show you an itemized bill before they charge you or do anything to your pet, and explain each charge thoroughly (a really positive experience I hadn't had with my previous vet).

Dr. Melda Gjokaj is an outstanding and knowledgable practitioner who takes the time to explain what she is doing and is clearly invested in her patients. The location and space are brand new and incredible, very convenient and beautiful. Veery happy my friend referred me here when my boy had a cyst on his rear burst and was infected. My cat had an issue and needed to be seen right away. Vets on the Hudson accommodated me on a Sunday while my previous Vet told me there was 2 a week waiting period. They are very prompted with follow up and the pricing is reasonable compared to other hospitals I have been to. Dr.Gjokaj actually performs thorough physical exams which is very refreshing to see as I have seen so many vets rush you in and out. They have in house blood work and actually have Ultrasounds on Thursdays with an internal medicine doctor! Special thanks to Lucia and Viviana for taking care of my kitty. You can really tell the difference between a family-owned practice like this and a corporate practice that just can't give you the warm care and service that your pet deserves. This place puts all the other hospitals to shame with their professionalism.

The staff, atmosphere, and level of honest helpfulness is impressive. VoH were able to treat my dog in an emergency and did not attempt to overcharge. They provide discounts on medication and all seem to genuinely enjoy making the customer happy.
