I did not know this company until I searched yelp for the best solar company and they were one of the few that had great reviews. I called and spoke to Sal, he was very knowledgeable and practical and always provided timely responses, either email/phone/text. Dealing with Sal was very stress free. At the same time I did my due diligence and spoke to several other solar companies including SunPower (rates as best panels but more than 50% expensive than Underline. I finally picked Underline and Sal took care of everything from inspection, city permits, my millions of questions, installation, and coordinate with SCE. Entire process was a little under 2 months, I am very pleased with the result. Will definitely recommend all my friends to this company.

Researched with a few big name solar companies and they were all overpriced and pushy in trying to get you to sign up with them, then a friend recommended Sal, who from the initial visit makes you feel comfortable almost like you discussing with a family member, he lays out your options of what you might need no unnecessary fancy bells and whistles then he leaves you feeling like you made the right affordable choice for your family since they are competitively priced would definitely recommend Sal and his team for all your solar needs

i was looking into solar for about 3 months before a friend recommended Sal.I meet up with Sal and felt the honesty right away. We discussed the my solar plan and gave me options on panel manufactures and panel positioning on my roof. I wanted extra panel for future home addition, therefore decided i wanted 34 panels on one side of my roof as we get sun on that side of the house all year long. We pulled the trigger and installed shortly after in January 2018 and only took a few short days. I am very happy with service, the installation and the aesthetics of my 34 LG panel all on the backyard side of my roof. He even included a variable speed pool pump with the installation!! Sal and his team did a great job from start to finish. I went and researched many different companies across yelp as well as getting quotes from them and by far they had the best deal. I went with the purchase instead of lease option for the tax credit. Every step of the way, Sal was walking me through what was going to happen. The process happened very quickly and within a month or so our entire system was functioning and we were seeing how many trees we’re saving on our fancy pants app. Overall a great decision on our part and we don’t regret our $10 Edison bill one bit.

We are very happy with our installation from Underline Energy. The crew did an excellent job especially being careful with the tile roof. Nice , clean electrical routing and handling of SDGE permits and paperwork. Our Bill went from 1400 dollars per year to an average of $375 per year.

Most recently, I was working outside and noticed that my inverter was stuck in 'night mode' (about a year after my solar was installed). A quick look at the SolarEdge app revealed that the inverter hadn't been generating power for several weeks. I contacted Jesse via text and he logged into my account online and was able to immediately confirm that the inverter was broken. From the beginning I was a bit of a challenging shopper, however Underline was able to provide me with a great product at an amazing price.
