It was wonderful. The check in was hella easy. It wasn’t too hard to find either. It came with a really nice hot tub tight outside so you can see the stars. The room was nice and clean and insulated. (Just make sure to leave the fans on so you’re not too hot the next day) They also have little packages for couples that show up and they were super nice and helped me with my proposal! I absolutely loved this place. Great location, great atmosphere, good pool, good breakfast (with delivery). My few cents on this would be:

1. Adding a cover for the doors so people can’t see through them
2. Either instructions with the AC (may have been user error) or just slight work on the insulation?
3. Door to pod was pretty tough to open
4. We did leave something there and I called them every day since and hadn’t gotten a call back, so customer service did lack a little bit…

Overall we had a fabulous stay. It would be great to have parking accommodations closer to the pods, more lighting for outdoor nighttime activities, pool maintenance (at least a net to conduct individual maintenance; there were lots of dead bugs swimming), standing umbrellas vs the current ones, door to pods were a little challenging to open, and shower water pressure was low. However, we appreciate the ambiance, the customer service and communication was great, enjoyed the location, the property is beautiful, peaceful, and an ultimate glampified experience. I will visit again. The robes, fireplace, the setup, and the little added touches to the pods mattered.

This exceeding our expectations. However, the telescope we rented was difficult to adjust. We ended up using binoculars instead. Additionally, we had children expected to stay with us. It wasn't clear on the website that it's an adults-only experience. When this was addressed (after checking in and about to jump into the pool), the best management could do was refer us to a nearby pool.
The stars were not as clear as other places we've stayed. I believe it's due to being so close to Austin. There was a lot of light in the distance which resulted in less visibility.
We probably won't stay here again but overall enjoyed the experience. Read more >
