Two Men and a Truck Raleigh

This was my first experience using Two Men & a Truck. And, it was great. The crew was friendly and actually funny! When they first arrived each team member introduced himself and shook my hand. They were patient with my questions and careful with my belongings. We had two stops to move my stuff to a storage unit and other things to my house. Everything went off without a hitch! When I'm ready to move my belongings out of storage, I will definitely use Two Men & a Truck again. And, I will ask that they send the same crew!! Two Men and a Truck was available to schedule my move within a week of the move (many other movers were not available). They showed up in the time frame specified. They were careful with my items, and worked efficiently to get it all done. They were friendly and respectful. One item, a 6' ladder, did not get unloaded from their truck. I am still trying to locate my missing ladder. My negative comment is that they said I could check the truck to make sure everything was unloaded, but then they closed up the truck completely before I even had the chance to look in it. Phillip and Eddie did an outstanding job. They were very professional and took care of every detail from wrapping the furniture to getting the boxes in the right order. Our fourteen year old grandson even mentioned how well they worked as a team and how they anticipated when they needed to help the other with heavy objects while encouraging each other.

There were 3 young men (Sylva, TyVon, and Shane) who came to help us move. They were kind, pleasant, respectful, and conscientious. They really made the move less stressful for us because of their understanding, and the care that they took. Sylva was especially friendly, engaging, and personable. His good demeanor and positive attitude made me feel more comfortable and more at ease. (By the time that the young men left, I actually felt like I knew something about them...So, they didn't just seem like total strangers, coming into our home and moving our things.)
They also shrink-wrapped dressers to keep the drawers stationary and to protect the furniture. In addition, they used blankets to cover the front door, any mirrors, and other items. Very professional at all steps of the journey. 10/10 would use their teams again. The Packing team did leave some obvious pieces unpacked, a board game, mirror, ironing board, etc, but the Moving team was above and beyond expectations. Note, the Packing team did not share notes about which large items they disassembled which, if not communicated, would have put the assembly responsibility back on the person moving. Read more >
