All I have to say is WOW! I don’t remember the last time I actually had great customer service like this. Shawn and Clay are probably two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They were super professional and did a fantastic job eliminating our bug problem! I highly recommend TruX Pest Control!

Trux came out to my house in Clayton and took care of a huge fire ant problem in my backyard as well as spraying around the house. Shawn is a top notch guy who is very knowledgeable about pest control! I highly recommend using them if you are in or around the Clayton NC area!

Great very helpful

I don't usually leave reviews but I had to leave one for this company. Their service is outstanding! Had a serious fire ant problem in my back yard which made us very concerned with letting our dog play out there. They did an excellent job of taking care of our problem and even came back and checked that it was working. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend this company.

Shawn is great! Very efficient and knowledgeable. Great prices and is always in the neighborhood checking in to make sure everything is going great!

We’ve used many other pest controls in the past and all just kind of put us on a plan and don’t tell us anything. Sean and his team actually explain what they’re doing, what they found and how they are resolving it. My wife is notorious for asking a bunch of questions, and the tru x team answered every one of them. I will definitely be continuing to use them.

To start with…I have a springtail infestation. If you’ve never heard of them, you aren’t alone. But if you have, you’ll understand the absolute and exhausting frustration.
The pest company who I was with when this started (6 weeks ago) treated the problem incorrectly for the first 3 weeks. Things just got worse. Next, the treatments helped a little bit but would rebound and the insects moved further into the house. They were here 6 times, with no resolve.
My boss sent her pest control company (TruX) to see if they could help me. WOW!!!!! I was blown away at how much time and effort Mike spent on figuring out where my problem was coming from. The other company had no clue where the nest was so the treatments never worked past a few days.
Mike is extremely knowledgeable, not only about pest control, but also about HVAC systems (which ended up being part of the issue...

I had a wonderful experience with Shawn from Trux. It only took him a few minutes to determine what my problem was. My problem was not something that Trux deals with but Shawn put me in contact with someone who could help me. He was nice and professional and even knocked down a wasp nest on his way out! The owner provided excellent customer service and is a super genuine guy, who is honestly passionate about Pest Control! TruX is not only supplying amazing service at an incredible price, but it’s a baby & animal safe product. On top of all that, it’s owned and operated by a local family that cares! Mike is absolutely amazing! About 4 years ago we replaced our HVAC with a high-end energy efficient one. Ever since then I’ve smelled a strange, chemical smell inside my house. The HVAC guys have been out several times checking the unit but have found nothing wrong. However they have all noticed a strange smell at the entrance to my crawlspace.

Mike came today and found the source of the smell. It’s not my crawl space or the HVAC. It’s the fig tree near my outside intake. He walked past the tree and said “I SMELL IT HERE.” I could have hugged his neck. I was beginning to think it was all in my head. He was right, it is the fig tree stinking. And the smell is being sucked into the HVAC and delivered into my house.

Very knowledgeable and thorough

TruX came out less than 24 hours after we signed up for service and treated the house/yard very thoroughly. The majority of homes in our neighborhood use TruX for good reason!

So far, so good! I just signed up for their services & to help with another issue going on. Mike was at my house the next day after I called & took care of the issue going on the day after that! I hate bugs with a passion so I am looking forward to see how it helps!

I was searching Google reviews for a company that would do preventative termite treatments. I had multiple big companies that had good Google reviews give me a quote and free inspection. All of them told me I didn’t have any termites present and gave me quotes all over the place. I wanted one more quote so I called TruX. Mike came out and took his time inspecting my house. He found two termite tunnels on the outside foundation, all of the other companies missed. He also found some in my crawl space which he showed me with a video he took. Mike took his time and wasn’t rushed which resulted in finding something that could have been major damage down the road. Their quote was great compared to the others.
