Tribal Waters Custom Pools

Our experience with Tribal Waters was mixed. Our Designer was very cordial and well versed in the design process for our spa. He worked diligently during the negotiation process to get our total project cost down. After the contract was signed, we were less than satisfied with the ensuing process and follow up provided. We were to be contacted by the project coordinator to give us a breakdown of the "who", "what" and when". If we had not contacted Tribal we are not sure when we would have heard from them. Originally we were promised a 2-3 week lead time on the spa shell to arrive. It took over 5 weeks to get a concrete response from Tribal, who informed us that the spa distributor, Sedona Spas, had experienced an issue with the construction of our spa and it would have to be re-made! which would take another couple weeks (at least). The Superintendent on our project got involved at this point and offered us an upgraded spa, that was available immediately, for an up charge. After a back and forth debate, we were eventually offered this upgraded spa for no extra charge. During the construction phase the project coordinator was, again, less than informative and provided little follow up. After several messages left on our part, we finally received communication regarding the remaining timeline. At this time we were approaching the start of a vacation to Mexico and we informed our Project Coordinator that we would like to wait for the final installation of the spa and completion of the project to occur after our return. Much to our surprise, we returned home to a fully installed spa and no phone call or communication as to why this occurred or when the next step (overview of project and spa orientation) would occur. Again, it took US calling Tribal to ask questions and gather information. In the end, it took us calling Tribal and demanding to meet and speak with the owner, Dan. Not only did Dan meet with us, he noticed and pointed out the issues we had noticed before we had to mention them. Dan promised to have the issues fixed and he did so within the timeframe he had given us. It is unfortunate that we had to get to the point of calling upon the owner to finish the job and get it done right.
