Absolutely loved the Ghana team!!! They we're amazing! I would highly recommend using the same team. My feedback is below:Having 2 modes of transportation was invaluable because it was definitely needed. .My favorite restarant was Bosphorus. Keep the 2 free days! Ghana team was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! I felt safe, and protected. Loved facebook as a mode of communication and sharing pictures. Thank you for having a photographer for capturing and journaling our time in Ghana! Thank you for letting us know that we would have armed guards in advance. The view of the Atlantic Ocean during meal time was perfect! We had so many beautiful views of the Ocean! Irene was prepared with toilet tissue, hand sanitizer at locations were the restrooms had none of these! She probably had more items! This was great! Morris, Dallas, Jude, Paul, Stephen,Victoria, Irene, and 2nd Officer, and both Drivers were approachable and willing to assist us, and take pictures!!! There aren't endless accolades for the "dream team"!!!
Suggestions for improvement. Visa: the first video that was sent was not accurate and did not discuss the GPS Digital code, and the contact person Bernard Darko was not correct. I called multiple times regarding this, and was told to write the hotel's address in the section for the GPS digital code. This was incorrect and could have caused delays if I used this information prior to an updated video which was sent later. Naming Ceremony we didn't all get the individual service(sitting on the stool and an explanation of our names) due to time constraints. There were also 2 additional people that were allowed to join our naming ceremony and they were allowed to go first which allowed them to get personalized service that most of us didn't receive. Airplane tickets: The flights don't automatically merge due to the ticket restrictions imposed by Travel Divas. This created a lot of confusion at the airport regarding final destination versus connecting flight. When we arrived at the airport our original luggage tag was for ORD not ACC. This was corrected but it was difficult for the airport staff. We were also unable to order our meals in advance because we couldn't merge the flights. Transportation to and from the airport: everyone should be charged for this. This was the main reason why I went with the air because the transportation was included in the cost. This topic was actually discussed during our zoom. Unexplained delays when leaving sites. Any delays in departure or enroute should be explained to those on the bus. Multiple check ins. If possible, start the trip at Cape Coast finish at Kempinski. Movies on bus:This was great, but there was no sound. If sound is not available due to safety, please consider using captions.
Reminders to keep up with personal items. We are adults, but we are also rushing and visiting multiple places in a short time period.
