Overall wonderful! I only wish that no matter WHAT country we visit that we learn about how BLACK people contributed to that country. Considering we are a group of Black Excellence. We should be going to countries to learn about US not other people because most of the time the history is lies and watered down. Not to mention, the contributions that black people made have been stripped and stolen from other people. All were doing is going to these countries and learning about the perpetuated lies. We went into the the Chapel and the Historian told a bold face untruth and said that WE would not be "here" had it not been for some colonizer when in all actuality, you cannot discover a place that was already inhabited by people of color. I understand Europe is a predominantly white country but I'm sure Travel Divas could've squeezed in at least ONE tour to show how WE helped shaped the country besides slaving to help make cheese and chocolate. I had no interest in the Red Cross Museum but I was happy to be able to do something else instead. The Karaoke was so much fun but I think that should've been something we did on our own and not a part of the itinerary. I'm not a fan of museums. They're rather boring. When you think of Travel Divas, you SURELY don't think of walking around a stuffy museum but if so, make it a learning experience about US. It wouldn't even been nice to go to a soul food restaurant in Switzerland (in addition to the Swedish delicacies). Now THAT would've been original! The lodging was very nice but the last one was extremely small for 2 people and did NOT overlook the water as described when I booked. I DID like that it was right across the street from the train station which was an easy commute to the airport back home. The Chateau was a great touch. I just expected a bit more to it. There was really nothing to see once we got inside but a bunch of empty rooms. It's as if they removed all the furniture before me came and confined us to 2 rooms. VERY disappointing. I got all dressed up in Queen attire expecting a WOW factor and it should've been held earlier in the day. Seven-thirty at night on the last night is too late because people still had to get back and finish packing. I recommend on the last day you do an early dinner (4-6pm) and release people EARLY to have the rest of the night to themselves. The vineyard was nice but not for the winter because there were no grapes. I knew all of this before coming but I guess unexpected a bit more. The experience was still nice but just not what I expected when thinking of brunch at a vineyard. The hosts were WONDERFUL, engaging and helpful. Would I do this trip again? Yes I would. It was a birthday to remember. Oh, and France was magical!
