Tomorrow's Promise Montessori Schools

Choose a different daycare. My child attended for less than a year. In that time, I watched a teacher snatch a blanket off a child so hard the child fell to the floor & started crying while the teacher continued to yell at kids (5 years old), this same teacher was yelling every time I walked through her classroom, I walked past many convos about what the teachers would rather be doing, the place is filthy & reeks of urine. My child who’s been sick 1 other time in her life was catching colds every other week bc their sanitation is nonexistent except dousing the floor w/ Fabuloso.

I spoke to Shelbi about the blanket incident & said she’d personally handle it bc she saw the video & was extremely upset about it esp. since she’s Jamaya’s direct spvsr. & it should’ve never happened. I was assured the teacher was reprimanded & retrained. That’s a lie or Jamaya doesn’t care bc she tried to harass & bully me, laughed at the incident & tried to minimize it. I don’t find abuse & making children cry to be something funny. Another incident: my child got hit resulting in a cut below her eye. I was told 30 mins prior to picking her up. On the incident report, I saw it happened OVER 6 HOURS PRIOR & Natalie chose not to tell me about it sooner.

When I told the “owner”, Kaye, about the blanket incident,she couldn’t have cared less. All she said was “I’m sure you’re not perfect & have bad days.” I don’t take my bad days out on children. Her attitude & lack of accountability is atrocious.

My nephew went to the Children’s House location for less than 6 months. The staff took advantage of him being an easy baby. He’d come home in the same diaper & his bottles never touched. The last straw was when they never notified parents about RSV reported in his class & infecting all but 1 student in the class. He caught such an horrible case of it from there, he was in the hospital on O2 for a week. He never went back. I was appalled when 1 parent said her child’s arm was broke on the playground. The school never sought medical care & told the mother “his wrist hurts bc he fell”. She took him to the ER bc of extreme discomfort. They did X-rays & discovered it was broke.

If you leave a bad review Kaye will cast you’re lying, downplay things, or accuse you of being a competitor that’s trying to make her look bad. She thinks she & the facilities can do no wrong. There is zero accountability here. The admin only cares about money. They will run their mouths about families. The only people I’ve seen defend this place are ones that stand to have a financial gain i.e. their own family, employees & companies they promote on their FB page. Those people will try to tear you down, lie about you, etc. Jamaya tried to claim my child would scream & refuse to get in my car when I’d pick her up. Yet 1. She wasn’t around my child bc I would keep her home on days I found out Jamaya would be in her class. 2. My child would squeal & run up to me every day I’d pick her up. To attempt an uneducated attack me on a personal level simply bc Jamaya fails on a professional level speaks volumes. 3. My child would cry & beg to go home for 15-20 minutes when I’d drop her off bc she didn’t want to be there.

Check out the teachers’ personal FB pages where they make comments about fave students & make disparaging comments about ones they don't like.

Jamaya also tried to attack me & acted entitled to special treatment or “professionalism” on my part simply bc I’m studying to be a doctor.

I’m sure Kaye or another admin will be on here soon to do exactly what I mentioned, condone child abuse, applaud their staff for publicly attacking & lying about parents, or try to say I’m lying.

I hope the people and staff that laughed about these incidents don’t have kids, bc if they think it’s funny, I’d hate to see how they’d treat a defenseless child behind closed doors & certainly aren’t worthy of having or keeping any child in their care.

This place is void of professionalism & actual care for kids. I feel bad for any child that’s in the class of Jamaya, Mackenzie, or Natalie.
