***In response to TN Nursery (see below), that seems to be a generic reply to these bad reviews that seem to be nearly all the same in nature. The good reviews are people who didn't have problems. Almost all the bad reviews are the same issue with customer service when there is a problem. There's no resolution, or it's very challenging to get one.
There is no customer service. If you email them, it's pathetic customer service. You can't call customer service and they won't call you on request. The customer service goes to the sales people, and they aren't "authorized" to deal with the problem. I disputed the charge with the credit card company. No more business from me, and I hope this review drives more people to their local nursery. The BBB statement says it all. You shouldn't be in business.****
As a return customer who has spent a fair amount of money with this company, I wouldn't buy another tree from them if they were the last place selling trees. I had a problem with a shipment arriving very late, customer service told me to pound sand. The most left field, unfriendly, stupid, irrational response. I e-mailed again to ask that an owner call me. Just another blank, stupid response. I thought for sure I was dealing with a customer service in China, and that I was completely duped by this company. Turns out, they really are in TN, just don't give a damn about their customers.
I ordered these trees late October. Once they finally shipped late November via USPS not UPS or FEDEX, it took them 9 days to get here, 4 days later than the tracking said. It is in the teens and 20s in Michigan under4-6 inches of snow and more coming.
The reason for not accepting a return I was told: the plants will die before they arrive back to TN in 2-3 days. So I'm supposed to feel comfortable spending all the time planting these trees that just traveled for 9 days, expecting them to live when they say they won't survive 3 more days in the box going back to TN.
Good riddance. Give your money to a local nursery who cares about their customers, not these guys.
