I ordered 2 paw paw trees from you on 3-17-2024. They were supposed to be 3-4 foot tall. There is ine 33 inches and 2 34 inches.
Only the 33 inch one is beginning to bud.
When I received them, there were 2 large root s on each one,cut back to ab4-5 inches with a few tiny roots on.
I'm afraid that the one tree is dead, they are both in large pots with soil and soil conditioner mixed, and kept on north side of building and watered thoroughly at least twice weekly to saturate soil.
Please advise me on my situation. I have to have 2 so that they will pollinate and fruit.

The shipping usually takes about 2 weeks but I was so pleased and excited to get my Hornbeam trees! Such a wonderful deal! They were well packaged and they come without any leaves but fear not! I put mine in the ground last week and they already have leaves growing on them!
