We are a Small Manufacturer of Organic Wool Bedroom Products that produces many Custom Products in addition to our standard products. We create custom products for window seats, recreational vehicles, boats, customized vans, hospitals, day beds, futons, pet beds, pillows, and many more applications. Some other manufacturers use foam, springs and cotton which the foam and cotton need to have flame retardant chemicals to address the flame regulations for mattresses. The foam used in other mattresses can outgas VOC's containing a number of gases that are not healthy to breathe for 1/3 of your day. I have been battling insomnia for at least 20 years. The average amount of sleep for me is 4 - 6 hours a night. I am 62 years old and when I get up in the mornings my body aches and I feel like I am 80+. I have gone through 3 new beds in the last 5 - 6 years and not one of them was good.

I slept on my new bed last night and I was able to sleep 7 hours. If I didn't have to get up for work, I could have easily slept an additional 2 hours. The best way I can describe it was, I felt totally supported and there were no pressure points leaving me feeling completely weightless. Because I turned off the alarm and slept later than usual, I got up and had to hit the floor running. The amazing thing was, my feet didn't hurt, I had no stiffness and there was no brain fog! I have been searching for this mattress since I first started buying futons 30 years ago. I have scoliosis and am in constant low back pain and thought the firmness of a futon would be helpful, but they always settled quickly and turned into something more like a hard cradle.

We’ve had our wool bed (cal king mattress, topper, comforter and pillows) for 5 years now and no sign of needing any work. We do flip and rotate it regularly.

Most importantly I’ve never had a better sleep. My husband prefers a softer bed than I do but he loves this one too so it has also saved our marriage!😋

I’m also EMF sensitive and love that there are no metal/conductive parts to our entire setup.

Amazing product and amazing customer service!
After looking at many different options, we decided to reach out to the Wool Bed Company in regards to a custom mattress for our antique sofa bed. Don was extremely interested and excited to take on the project and assured us that we would be completely satisfied with the end result. After a few phone conversations and pictures sent our mattress was delivered ahead of schedule and at the quoted price. Don personally delivered the mattress to East Troy, WI and helped set the mattress in place. He wanted to make sure that the mattress would be comfortable on top of the 100 year old springs and that it would fold away when not in use. Game changer. I slept like a baby. No pressure points, no back pain, just a great nights sleep. And no, wool doesn’t make you hot - it breathes. Sheep stay cool in the summer you know?
