I had such a bad slipped disc that Urgent Care told me to take massive pain meds for 3-4 days, and if not better, then to go see a surgeon right away. I went to Dr. Boelk instead. Within days he was able to bring my pain down from a level 9/10 to a 7/8. I went every day (M-Th/Fr) for four weeks and every week my pain went down by several digits. As of today I am officially pain free, have full function of my legs, can walk my 90lb dog, play Marco Polo with our teenagers in the pool, and get back to my normal life. I cannot say enough how much Dr. Boelk helped me. He is not your standard chiropractor. He was my life saver. Surgery would have been the WRONG choice!

I had been suffering from back pain for over six months, to the point where I was crying curled up in a ball not knowing what to do. Ibuprofen wasn't helping at all. Finally I decided to see a chiropractor. I looked up chiropractors near me and Dr Cassidy was probably the 5th office I called. I immediately felt at ease with Patty helping me over the phone. I thought I had piriformis syndrome but, then after taking an MRI I saw my L4-L5 had a level 3 disc protrusion and my L5-S1 had a level 4 disc protrusion aka those 2 discs were severely herniated. I have 3 Herniated disks in my lower back. This place has been great for helping me reduce the pain I'm in and gives me hope to possibly fix my problems without having to go through surgery. The machine (DRX 9,000) that is used in my therapy, makes this hope a greater possibility. It's a God sent gift that one day I would like to see them use in medical institutions like Kaiser. I mention Kaiser because they are the medical institute that I'm covered with.
