After a long search, we closed last week on a wonderful house on the water in Lake of the Woods, Virginia. I’ve known Katie Blocker for about 10 years, and I can honestly say she is one of the most helpful and reliable real estate agents I’ve ever worked with. And most friendliest and patient person too which goes far with an overthinker like me. 🤣 I used to have my real estate license myself, and during that time she assisted me with several transactions and was always great to work with. The Licata group helped me through a very stressful move. My husband was in hospice and I had a broken ankle. They arranged to have someone clean the house and steam clean carpet. I was juggling phone calls between realtor and nursing staff. I was arranging to cut down trees for inspectors and HOA while arranging for Last Rites in another call. I told my husband we sold the house to someone named Isabella. He said “do they call her Izzy? Maybe Bella I said. The next day he passed away knowing The Licata group did their job. This was our second experience with Carrie and Keith with the Licata Group - first as buyers of a home and second when recently selling our home.
They made both experiences as smooth and pleasant such a sometimes stressful experience can be, as well as showing a high level of knowledge and professionalism in the local market. In a rather turbulent market we were pleased that our home sold in less than 20 days and at a fair price. It was also convenient to use a Licata transport van in our transition. If we were in the market to buy or sell in the central Virginia are we would not hesitate to call upon them again!
