The Goddard School of Southlake

Our child loves this school, and we (the parents) do too. The curriculum based education using the STEAM approach has paid huge dividends and we couldn't imagine our child going to school anywhere else.

From the moment we met Val (Director) we knew this was where we wanted to trust our newborn son to. She took the time to ease our concerns and build trust in her staff. We have been blown away with the care and attention our son gets. We dropped him off at 3 months and Mom and I held our breath. To our surprise our son adapted to the teachers immediately. The are patient with him and we know he is in great hands. We love that he is making buddies in the infant room. Thank you for helping our young boy grow. The infant teachers are awesome!

The teachers go above and beyond to make sure my children feel loved & cared for. The curriculum and enthusiasm from the teachers using it has made such a huge impact on my daughter who is a pre-k student. Not only has she learned how to count higher, identify her letters & begin to read, her teachers have taught her about respect, caring for others, eating healthy & overall, how to be a good person. I am so lucky to have found such a great place for my children & am completely impressed by the work my daughter's teachers have done. I am 100% confident she is not only ready for kindergarten, she is ahead & I give all credit and thanks to The Goddard school & Ms.Dawney & Ms.Loretta.

We love everyone there, they are like a family and that makes it so much more reassuring for a parent who is always worried about their babies! I would never send my children anywhere else!

The fact that I get a minimal of 4 pictures a day on top of the daily note is reassuring to a momma! My little one is so happy in "get set" I could not imagine him at any other school! It's only been 2 weeks and he's learned so many new things!

We have been very pleased with the Goddard School since we moved from California a few years back. This was our first experience with a private preschool setting (formally used in-home day care) and I am constantly impressed with the level of personal attention they give each child and family. My oldest started here when she was 5, and the year she spent here more than prepared her for her transition to Kindergarten. She even came back the next two summers after graduation to attend the Summer Camp program, which she always loved. My youngest started here when she was 18 months and has been learning so much. She has one more year left until she heads off to Kindergarten and I expect she will be reading before she even gets there.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with The Goddard School and the impact it has on our child. Our son is progressing and advancing in numerous ways that help him to exceed in his learning skills every day. The interaction, the activities, the social awareness he has gained is priceless. Furthermore, what I feed my child is a priority to me. One thing that stands out to me about this school are the snacks: they are all delicious and healthy, plus I’m allowed to pack his lunch. On so many levels, I’m happy my son is a student at The Goddard School.

We have loved The Goddard School from the first day we walked in! My son has learned so much and I feel is a step ahead of his friends because of the advanced curriculum Goddard offers. We love all of the teachers we have had. The care that is given is beyond anything I could have hoped for especially when bringing my daughter into the infant room. Having to go back to work was so hard, but knowing she was in such a loving environment put my fears at ease.

Our experience at the Goddard School has been nothing less than exceptional. We had visited nearby Montessori schools of Southlake and Keller and are so glad we had chosen this one. I am impressed by the degree-certified teachers, the student-teacher ratio, the engaging programs, the safety/sanitation policies, and variety of teaching equipment and structures such as the Prometheus, computer lab and outdoor play areas. What pleases me the most is the genuine care and concern which runs through the entire staff from the directors to the assistant teachers. I can feel more at ease at work knowing I can check on my toddler at any time during the day through a phone call, a Tadpole photo, or an in-person visit. The directors and teachers are also very involved in the development of each child. Before starting the program, we discussed milestones, expectations and farther reaching goals....

The Goddard School in Southlake is a safe and fun environment for the children. The management is great. They are very helpful and always smiling. They care about all the children equally and they do care about their staff too. They are not a regular daycare. They are a private preschool. They have curriculum for all ages. The classrooms are very clean and organized. There is plenty of room for the children to move freely. The teachers are caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend The Goddard School in Southlake to anyone who is looking for a quality preschool.

We have had such a wonderful experience with The Goddard School! We recently relocated from Chicago down to the Southlake area, and everyone at The Goddard School has helped make this transition for my kids so easy! Going to school full time is new for both my 4 and 2 year old and all the staff have gone out of their way to ensure both are comfortable and doing well. I receive pictures of my kids throughout the day showing me what activities they are up to and at the end of the day receive a daily report of all activities, as well as what they ate that day! It brings such ease to my me knowing I can see what they are up to and know they are having a great time! I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking to enroll their child(ren)!

I highly recommend the Goddard School in Southlake. My husband and I found Goddard for our, then, 17 month-old son by chance when it first opened. Now, more than three years later with two additional children, I can truly say that Goddard is a part of our family. We have experienced every class Goddard has to offer, and we continue to be amazed by the level of learning, the well-thought-out curriculum, and the professionalism of the staff. The teachers are loving, well-educated, and genuinely care about my children. This school has curriculum that is geared to engage children with all types of learning development whether ahead, behind, or right on target. We moved our children to Goddard this year and have been nothing but impressed! The quality of instruction is exceptional and the staff is unbelievably caring and supportive. As a fellow teacher, I’m impressed with the level of learning and growth that my son has exhibited in just a few months with Goddard. The staff at Goddard is highly educated and it shows in how they instruct students. Even my daughter’s infant teachers are highly trained and educated. Everything we have seen so far at Goddard has made me truly believe we made the best decision when enrolling our children here.
