The Goddard School of Lakeway

The staff is beyond wonderful - they take the time to know each and every student and parent. It is clear they are invested in their student's well being and experience at school, and we as parents are grateful beyond words for their sincere care. As for the curriculum, we've seen our son grow leaps and bounds since he enrolled at Goddard. He's matriculated through 3 classrooms from infant to now toddler and every single day we are blown away by the things he is learning, his social skills, and as well as his verbal skills and developmental milestones. The staff is extremely responsive - a phone call never goes unanswered. We are also updated throughout each day through the app with photos, a daily summary and a weekly digest - and we find this transparency is invaluable!

Moved to Goddard from a different schedule. We started out in the older baby room at 9 months. My daughter is now almost 2 and we really like it. I feel like she is safe and take care of with respect. I like that they do activities through out the day to stimulate her and that she gets outside time. The front office staff is amazing, always responsive, and receptive.

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive to each child's needs. They go above and beyond to ensure every child feels loved and supported. The facilities are clean, organized, and safe, providing a stimulating environment for learning and play. I have peace of mind knowing they are in such capable hands. I highly recommend to all the parents near this location!!

Goddard has been such an amazing place for both of my kids! From their friendly and professional staff all the way to starting a little earlier than most daycares that accommodates our families early schedules. This place feels like family and I my kids are happy every single day. Goddard communicates well and their tidbits of sending me photos of my kids enjoying the different activities always warms my heart.

This place is full of love and warmth for our kiddos. We love being a part of the Goddard Lakeway family!

Best school ever, if I had anymore kids I would definitely send them here, no questions asked. They take amazing care of my daughter and treat her like family.

We couldn’t say enough great things about this location! Our son started at 5 months old and loved all his teachers as he moved from classroom to classroom. The Directors were all extremely involved and knowledgeable about the day to day for each child. We had multiple times where my son would sit in the lobby and refuse to leave with me at the end of the day! We recently moved out of state and are seriously missing our Goddard Family!

My son is almost 2 years old at Gooddar and I couldn't be happier with everything he has learned and the love he has received. The entire team is excellent.

Our family loves Goddard! They have been so good to us and our girls love “going to school” in the morning. The hours are great for our work schedules and there’s a definite sense of community amongst the family and kids ♥️

My family, my daughter and I are happy to have knocked on the doors of this incredible school and to be part of it. The entire team is incredible, they make us feel like we are at home. We love that they lovingly accept diversity of culture. My daughter learns something new and interesting every day. We do not think of going to school as an obligation, on the contrary we do it with joy because we know that we are going to have a great day. For each teacher who has passed, it has been fascinating because they have had the sensitivity to teach them and speak to them from the heart. We are grateful for all this and more.

My daughter has been going to the Goddard school since 2021 and I highly recommend the school. She had gone to a different daycare prior but this has been a much better environment for her. The teachers and staff are always very kind and welcoming to the students and parents. Having my daughter go to a safe and nurturing environment while I work is really important to me. She has made some wonderful friends and I’ve also had the opportunity to get to know some of the parents. I appreciate all of the memories that my daughter has been able to make here (I.e. splash day, police and fire dept visits, book mobile, class parties, Santa visit). Having a positive learning environment is essential to childhood development and all the teachers have made my daughter feel safe and happy!

We couldn't recommend Goddard of Lakeway more. The staff and teachers work so hard to take such wonderful care of our kids. They are organized, fantastic communicators, and have prepared our kids for elementary school. Our kids love going to school and I feel confident that they are safe, learning, and having fun every day!

I can not say enough good things about this school! From the owner to the director, to the teachers, it is a well-oiled machine. There is very little turnover- which is rare in this industry, and you can tell it’s from the overall culture that starts at the top.

Everyone cares about the individual child and provides what that student needs. Everyone, and I mean everyone went above-and-beyond to see my son succeed despite it requiring a lot of ‘extra’. They were patient, supportive and truly cared. They worked with us as a family and with him as an individual. We have been to other schools that were not a great fit and everything changed with this group of people. We will be forever grateful for the school and staff.

My baby has been going here since she was 3 months, she is now 2 I have to say I absolutely LOVE this daycare, the teachers are beyond amazing, and my child has learned and grew into herself so much with the help of them, the director Raul is absolutely incredible! He bonds with all of the kids and he is always so welcoming in and super sweet.

Goddard Lakeway is the best thing happened to my daughter (just turned 5). She got comfortable within a week of her admission (she was 2 that time). Goddard Lakeway provided all means to groom my daughter as an individual. I am really grateful to all the staff and teachers there.

We enrolled our son in March 2023 with the plans of moving him to a closer daycare that August.

While we were at Goddard the staff became family and we were reluctant to move our son but decided to move him anyway since it was closer to our house. It has been our biggest mistake and learning experience moving him to another school.

After the first day at the new daycare I called the Director at Goddard to get our son enrolled again and he has been there since.

We love Goddard because the staff is soooo friendly and have become an extension of our family. We can take the food we choose and they will heat it up. The bottles and containers come home clean and consolidated. The drop off and pick up times are flexible and the days they are closed are fewer than other schools which is necessary for working...

Great Team, Great Teachers. It is clean and safe. I know a pre-school is good when I pick up my child and they don't want to leave.

Upon moving to Austin, we considered several schools in the Lakeway area before selecting Goddard. Our daughter has loved attending school since the beginning, and is now on her fourth classroom as a toddler. We have had a positive and engaging experience with her teachers and feel supported by the fantastic admin team, who is incredibly communicative and plugged in with the kids and their families. We’ve been most impressed by how much she has learned in her classroom and the extensive list of activities she participates in daily. Each day is different. We would highly recommend to anyone in the Lakeway area considering a daycare.

We have been so pleased with our experience at Goddard! My daughter has been there for almost 2 years and we have been very impressed with all of the teachers she’s had. They have been responsive to all concerns and have a great grasp of what is going on in the classroom. Everyone who works at the school genuinely cares about the kids and their families. I cannot recommend Goddard Lakeway highly enough!

Goddard is by far the best school at Lakeway area. They offer a safe, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for both parents and kids. The Classrooms size are perfect (our son was at the 3YO classroom with 14 other students),offering the right student-teacher ratio and opportunities to develop close relationships with classmates and teacher. Our son faced some specific challenges this year; they were accommodating to all my sons needs, always being generous and attentive to our family. They are a diverse, stable, and reliable establishment in our community, welcoming kids from all backgrounds. Ms. Raul, Ms. Alicia, Ms Kelsey, and Ms. Meredith were pivotal in our son’s development, they will always have a special place in our hearts. Highly recommended!

We have been very happy with the care provided at the Goddard school. The teachers show genuine connection and care for the kids. Our girls love going and have learned so much!

The teachers and staff at Goddard are incredible! We were new to the community and they have made our daughter, Grace (age 4), feel so welcome! She comes home from school every day talking about how much she loves her teacher Miss Debbie and her new friends, which she had never done at her prior pre-school.

We have been very impressed by the curriculum, including reading, writing, math and science, and our daughter loves telling us about her lessons! She even led us in a family yoga practice including directing us in deep breathing to "make us feel calm" (her words!).

We had two kids in Goddard from the age of 2 through kindergarten. We had a fantastic experience with the Goddard Family. Ownership was always open to feedback/needs, the staff took time to get to know our kids , we always had good to great teachers, and our kids had fun while preparing for school.

During the pandemic, Goddard created an extensive cleaning / safety protocol program that put us at ease during a stressful time in our lives.

The dues / fees are reasonable and offer one of the best values in the Lakeway Bee Cave area. We highly recommend Goddard School of Lakeway if you are looking for day care for your children.
