The Goddard School of Chantilly (Westfields)

I cannot say enough good things about The Goddard School - Chantilly. Our children have gone through all the classrooms and the teachers have always been professional and attentive. The teachers in the infant room (Ms. Amanda and Ms. LeAnna) and in the pre-k (Ms. Lisa and Ms. Anna) class continue to go ABOVE AND BEYOND by fostering relationships with our children and providing high-quality lessons each week. We feel confident that our children are safe at morning drop off and see how happy they are upon afternoon pickup!

The management team is also excellent and values communication with parents and the safety of all the children at the school. We have had the best experience at the Goddard School Chantilly for both of our sons. Our older son graduated from the preschool program with Ms. Lisa, Ms. Anna, and Ms. Emily Grace and is currently thriving in Kindergarten. Our youngest son is in Ms. Sofia and Ms. Efi’s class and absolutely adores them! He is so excited to come to school each day and we are so thankful!

We have had the best experience at the Goddard School Chantilly for both of our sons. We enrolled our child in Goddard's accredited Kindergarten program, and couldn't be happier with the results, not only academically but developmentally as well. The teachers, Ms. Shannon and Ms. Katrina, embody what early-age educators should strive to be. Our child has become confident in her reading, writing, basic math, and has even learned to play chess well enough to give me an honest challenge. It's become evident during our time at Goddard that education, safety, and promoting a nurturing environment are prioritized by all educators and staff. We only wish we had enrolled sooner to have experienced all that Goddard had to offer. Thank you everyone at Goddard-Chantilly.

This year, in the Penguins with Ms. Dani and Ms. Pam, our child has continued to thrive socially and emotionally. The teachers not only expand the children’s knowledge but also encourage kindness and community. Their humor and support make a meaningful impact.

The supportive team—including Ms. Reagan, Ms. Emily-Grace, and Ms. Hyam—has been incredible. Our child comes home excited about what they’ve learned, the challenges they’ve faced, and how they’re problem-solving and growing.

Ms. Lisa brings incredible energy to the classroom. She keeps things well-organized and structured, while still making each day fun and engaging. Ms. Anna is incredibly kind and always takes time to listen to the children and answer their questions—she’s a thoughtful and steady presence alongside Ms. Lisa. Ms. Meseret has a calm, wise presence. She patiently observes and encourages the kids to work through challenges on their own, like a gentle and insightful guide (she reminds me of a wise grandma—just much younger!).

We’ve been through multiple schools and toured all the daycares in our area, and we have confidence to say that the Goddard School of Chantilly is definitely the hands-down, top-notch best school! We’ve been with them for many years, and this is the place we trust for our most precious little one to be. The school environment is very beautiful and clean, all the staff is very knowledge and friendly, the atmosphere is very nice and supportive, and most importantly, the teachers are really, really good. Both of our children (18 months and nearly 5) attend the Goddard School of Chantilly. The teachers are wonderful to our children and the development of both our children has exponentially expanded since they started attending one year ago. We have decided to have our son complete kindergarten at the Goddard School vs. Fairfax County Public Schools and I think that will pay dividends for us in the future. While the tuition is expensive, family members pay less (albeit, not that much less) for other schools in the area and the quality is significantly different in the worst way possible. 5 stars for the Goddard School!

Highly recommend Goddard Chantilly! The front office staff Jill, Michelle and Katie are amazing. I have always felt comfortable dropping my child at Goddard. We loved Ms. Lisa and Ms Shay and the care they provided in helping our son get ready for Kindergarten. Brad and Risa have a great team at this location and are excellent owners. I have nothing negative to say.

Goddard is having such a great procedure for each subject matter. That is representing that overall Goddard is able to offer an emotionally, mentally and physically stable environment for kids, teachers and parents. Not only provide a great level of child development curriculum, but also they know how to manage things. My kid's reaction show it. She started to adapt new environment quickly, she is pretty much enjoying her journey of a new relationship with teachers, friends and staff at Goddard. I was impressed that not only my kid's teachers, even staff and other class teachers know my kid's name. My kid just hit her first month at Goddard. Goddard is a quite big size school though. Also, my kid teacher has been working at Goddard more than 14 years I believe. This will give you an idea already about Goddard. I am telling parents who seek their kid's preschool, Google Goddard and go.

We sent our children here for the last 9 years which should say enough in itself. It was our children’s home away from home. They were loved, cared for, and learned a great deal in each class. Great teachers & a management team that went above and beyond!

My son loved it there and he learned a lot. The teachers worked well with my son and were very patient and through with all the kids and you can tell. This is one of the best centers to take your child to of any other and you get what you pay for. He is ready for the 1st grade reading, writing and adding numbers above his peers than if he was in a regular daycare. He loved coming to learn every day.

The people here really care. I trust they have the best interest of the children and I trust them with my child. What else can a mom ask for when dropping off their baby.

My daughter has been going to school here for almost a year. It has done wonders for her social skills, academic skills, and behavior! The owners, staff members, and teachers are amazing and I love the tadpoles app where they post pictures and videos of her throughout the day to keep me connected. I can ask her about specific activities she did to help start a discussion about her day! The daily report is also incredibly detailed and they have a thorough curriculum which they follow.

She just missed the county’s cut off to start kindergarten this Fall but I believe she is kindergarten ready because of this school! She will attend their kindergarten program instead. In my vast search for a preschool for my daughter, I narrowed down my number one choice to Goddard. Almost six months into my daughter's time at Goddard, I definitely do not regret my decision. The teachers and staff are warm and welcoming and go above and beyond to provide the optimal preschool experience and education for my daughter. Also, they make it point to know every child and family personally. All in all, I definitely recommend Goddard!
