Best school for kids to start early learning. The staffs and teachers are very friendly. When I first enrolled my daughter 3 years ago as an infant I had no idea what to expect, as I was a new mom and tried my best to vet daycares to the best of my ability without having any experience in doing so. I am so glad we chose Allen Goddard West because not only has my daughter made life-long friends along the way, but she has learned more than I could ask for at the age of 3; multiple languages (ASL and Spanish), potty training, great social skills, extensive vocabulary, and more.

When I welcomed my second daughter I knew there was no better place for her than the infant room at this school. However, we had ended up moving 20 minutes away and decided to try out a new daycare walking distance from our new home to avoid a commute. We have been the Goddard family since June 2021 soon after Ms. Letty opened this site. We had just moved to the area and had unsuccessful transition from our previous Northeast daycare/preschool to another large school in Allen. I spoke to Ms. Letty and switched to Goddard that day and we have been a big fan ever since. My daughter is in Kindergarten but came back to Goddard for the summer camp where she felt right at home. My daughter was prepared for the kindergarten and did very well academically thanks to the Goddard program and teachers. The teachers and director Ms. Angela are great and the facility is nice, but the best part is that Ms. Letty and her amazing family are all there together. From the moment we first toured the facility, we knew it was the perfect environment for our little one to grow, learn, and play. The school is exceptionally clean(they have very good sanitizing machine), well-organized, and filled with engaging activities that stimulate the children's minds and bodies.
A standout aspect of the school is its owner, Miss Letty. Her warmth and dedication are evident in everything she does. Miss Letty has an incredible ability to connect with each child, making them feel special and understood. she keeps us informed about our child's progress and is always available to discuss any concerns or answer questions.

I'm an early childhood educator and have taught lower elementary and Headstart for for 8 years. Before I was an educator I was in private childcare for 7. I now present to educators across TX on social emotional skills in children. I'm saying this for two reasons- one, because my career has mad me EXTREMELY picky about who I trust my child with. And two- because I have witnessed good and bad teachers and facilities both as an educator AND a mom. My son goes to Goddard full time in the summer. I've been incredibly impressed by the staff's ability to be both professional and personable at the same time.

My son has ADHD, along with a few gross motor delays- and can be a handful. His teachers understand what is developmentally appropriate behavior, and how to support his growth moving forward. This has been rare for us and is appreciated in educators working with my son. Read more >
