The Goddard School Laurel

This is a great school to send your child for pre-k! My son has a great time here and the staff and teachers are friendly.

Kids love it, teachers are very caring. The facility is clean. Very diverse classes couldn’t be happier.

We are so happy to be part of The Goddard School family. Teachers are amazing, they really care about my son and his needs. Admin staff are amazing too, they are always supportive and helpful. The learning program is wonderful and effective. We really appreciate what they do. Mr. Z and Ms. Alessia are incredible teachers. Thank you for dedicating your time to our little ones.

Our infant daughter has been at the Goddard School for a few months now and we have been very impressed. The owner, director, and all the teachers kind, professional, and very communicative.

Great school, professional staff, and great leadership. Thanks Ms. Dipti, Ms. Haley and the Goddard team for making the transition easy. They were and have always been supportive of childhood development while providing a safe and effective environment for both children and parents.

What an improvement this place has made over the past 6 months. I have to shout out the new management for the hard work and dedication to bring our children the best experience. My child’s developmental skills have really shown progress working with the new teachers and I can’t thank them enough. There is no better feeling than knowing your child is as safe, loved, and cared for as they are at home. Thank you Goddard Laurel!

Goddard School of Laurel is run efficiently and thoughtfully. Their staff are incredibly nurturing and genuinely care about each child. The change in ownership has also contributed to many positive changes throughout the school. This is a place where you can feel completely confident that your child is being physically and developmentally cared for.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at The Goddard School of Laurel! The staff is incredibly warm, professional, and truly invested in each child’s growth and development. The curriculum strikes a great balance between learning and play, and our child looks forward to going every day. Communication with parents is consistent and thoughtful. Goddard is a great school with very responsive management. During my first visit, I had the opportunity to meet Dipti, who was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Since then, I have spoken with her several times, and each interaction has been a very positive experience.

Even in the short time my child has attended, I've noticed significant improvements — from enhanced classroom maintenance and a new library corner for the kids to clean, well-equipped playgrounds and more. The hallways and classrooms are spotless, and the teachers, especially Ms. Dalia, are highly qualified and engaging. The administrative staff is responsive, cheerful, and always ready to help.

Communication is excellent, with regular emails, updates, and photos that are a joy to receive. The school's app is extremely helpful in tracking my child’s daily activities and overall...

The teachers and staff at Goddard in Laurel truly care about my son’s development. They get as excited as we do as parents when he learns something new! I’ve trusted Goddard with his care since he was 4 months old (now 2.5) and love that I know he’s having fun while learning every day!

We love Goddard. Our son has been there since he was 4 months old and has thrived. The teachers are loving, kind and patient. The school is clean and there are tons of activities.

Goddard in Laurel is one of the best preschools for your child. My child started attending around the age of 2. My child is not very vocal. The teachers really helped my child grow while patiently assisting with increasing expressive language. The teachers and administrators act as an extension of our family, which makes it an intimate experience for my child.

I wholeheartedly recommend this school. The owner and administrators are supportive and friendly. I'm greatful I found this school for my child.

My daughter is a current student at the Goddard School in Laurel. Every morning she is excited to go to school. When I drop her off she runs into the arms of her teachers, no kicking, screaming or crying. This is very reassuring for me to see. You can't fake that genuine joy and love of caregivers.

We are in pandemic times so I cannot go into the school but based on the exterior of the building, parking lot, lobby, and 2 playgrounds, and how my daughter looks when she comes home everyday, they run a clean operation. Also, my daughter never gets sick, despite the fact that small children are walking petri dishes who constantly touch their mouths, noses, and other kids and toys. We are halfway through the year and she hasn't had so much as a sniffle or a runny nose.

My son is only five months old , but he is so happy to be put in his car seat every morning to go to school. He has been at Goddard from the age of six weeks old. He is always reaching for his teachers when we get there, smiling, having a great time. They have done an amazing job with him in terms of working with him to make sure he hits those developmental milestones. He has made friends - he even recognizes his classmates.

I love seeing the videos and pictures. They make me smile. And I also get the added bonus of seeing what toys or games he likes so I can get them for home as well. I love getting the reports at the end of the day so I know how he slept and how much he has eaten and when. It allows me to keep his schedule that they are establishing in daycare at home as well.

I am a first-time, single-mom. The thought of leaving my son, with what seemed like complete strangers, was terrifying. I wanted to find a school where my son would not only be safe but would also thrive. I have found this in The Goddard School in Laurel. The teachers and management staff are so passionate about each and every student. They are professional, personable, accessible, extremely responsive, and diverse! Even though, my son isn’t even 2 yet, he is speaking English, Spanish, and sign language. I can see his individual progress day-to-day and it is exhilarating! This school is amazing. Our son started at one year old, and he is now 18 months. The amount he has learned is amazing. The daily reports keep us informed of what he is learning so that we can reinforce at home. We get pictures of what he's doing, updates on what he eats, stats about diaper changes in the reports.

He also recently transitioned to the next classroom up, and the transition was done gradually and we were kept in the loop about his progress and were made aware of the steps involved in his transition. It was clear that if he was not ready, they would not move him up. The teachers in his old and new classrooms coordinated and relayed specifics about my son's habits.

Aside from the organized info, what's most impressive is that every single teacher and staff member knows my son's name- even the ones who aren't his classroom teachers. The director...
